Family and relationships 23.08.2019

319. In order to prevent the conduct of reconnaissance by the enemy and to exclude a sudden attack on the protected units (subunits) of his ground forces, a guard guard is appointed by decision of the senior commander (division commander).

The battalion's outposts are guarded by guard posts as part of a calculation with a gun, set up in threatened directions at a distance of up to 1500 m, at hidden approaches - by secrets consisting of 2-3 people, set up at a distance of 400 m from the area where the division is located.

320. A division (battery) may be attached to a battalion (company) assigned to a guard detachment (outpost). Mortar battery, counter tank platoon by platoon, by squad, they can be attached to outposts. Division (battery), mortar battery(platoon), anti-tank platoon (squad) are deployed in battle formation with the task of inflicting fire damage on the enemy in order to defeat him on the outskirts of the positions of the guard detachment (outpost) and prevent his breakthrough to the main forces of the combined arms unit. In front of the positions of combined arms units outpost, in the intervals between the positions of the subunits, lines of fixed barrage fire are being prepared. Areas of firing positions are chosen in areas where there is a danger of tanks, with the calculation of direct fire.

The command and observation post of a division (battery) is located near or jointly with the command and observation post of a battalion (company). In front of the front and on the flanks of a guard detachment (outpost), the commander of a division (battery) organizes artillery reconnaissance.

321. The commander of a battalion (battery) organizes the work of organizing actions in the same way as in organizing combat operations in defense in conditions out of contact with the enemy.

When setting goals to subunits, the commander of the division (battery) indicates: the line of defense, the security zone of the guard detachment (outposts); strip (sector) of artillery reconnaissance; tasks of fire destruction to support the combat operations of outposts (posts) when repelling an enemy attack; the procedure for distributing batteries to support combined arms units; areas of firing positions and places of command and observation posts, the procedure for their preparation and occupation.

322. When preparing actions, the division headquarters, in addition to the usual issues, organizes the service at guard posts, controls its performance and additionally develops a service schedule and daily routine.

At each guard post, observers are appointed to serve.

At night and during the day in conditions of poor visibility, at least a third of the personnel using night vision devices is involved in serving at posts.

Personnel assigned to security guards must be in constant combat readiness, observe established order combat duty, sequence and order of rest, measures of disguise, exercise high vigilance, determination and steadfastness.

To restrict the movement of personnel, a pass and recall are established, which change every day.

When organizing service at posts personnel placed secretly, without revealing itself.

323. Small enemy groups attempting to infiltrate protected subunits are captured or destroyed by the battalion guards. In the event of an offensive by superior enemy forces, the division (battery), in cooperation with other fire weapons, inflicts fire damage on the enemy and supports fighting guard detachment (outpost) to hold the line it occupies, ensures maneuvering and organized entry into battle of units (subunits) allocated to destroy the enemy.

1. Introduction.

2.1. Organization of guard protection of the area on the spot and the area of the halt.

2.2. The tasks of the commander of the battalion (company), assigned to the outpost.

1. Introduction.

Modern combined-arms combat is conducted by the combined efforts of all troops participating in it. It is characterized by decisiveness, tension, transience and dynamism of combat operations, their ground-air nature, simultaneous powerful fire impact to great depths, the use of various methods of performing combat missions and rapid transitions from one type of action to another. In the course of hostilities, units and subunits constantly change their location. To prevent a sudden attack by the enemy on subunits located on the spot, to prevent the penetration of reconnaissance into location area, as well as in order to ensure favorable conditions for deployment and entry into battle or maneuver, sentry guards are organized.

2. Organization of outposts.

2.1. Organization of guard protection of the area on the spot and the area of the halt.

When deployed on the spot, troops are guarded directly, and in the event of a threat of enemy attack, they are guarded by guard guards posted by regiments (battalions) at the lines indicated by them and in zones (at positions). The guard guard should be circular and intercept all the main roads and approaches to the location area.

The outposts of the battalion are carried out by guard posts as part of a squad (tank), which, if necessary, are set up in threatened directions at a distance of up to 1,500 meters; borders of the location area - by direct security, including paired patrols and constant duty of observers at the battalion command and observation post. In addition, a duty unit is assigned to the battalion, usually as part of a platoon. It is located in the place indicated by the battalion commander and is in constant readiness to destroy enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups and perform other suddenly arising combat missions, as well as to extinguish fires in and near the location area. In the company, direct protection is organized, carried out by patrolmen who serve by bypassing the area where the company is located, and by the constant duty of observers at the command and observation post of the company. In addition, a daily outfit is assigned to protect personnel, weapons and equipment.

Outpost protection is usually carried out by guard detachments as part of a reinforced company and outposts as part of a reinforced platoon. Sometimes a battalion can also be assigned to an important direction in the guard detachment from the division, in this case a reinforced company may be assigned to the guard outpost from the guard detachment.

The guard detachment (outpost) is indicated the line of defense and the zone of protection and reconnaissance. The security zone along the front can reach: for a battalion - 10 km, for a company - 5 km, for a platoon - 2 km.

The removal of outposts from guarded units (subunits) should ensure that they carry out a maneuver, an organized entry into battle and, depending on the composition of the outposts, can be 5-15 km.

A battalion (company) assigned to a guard detachment occupies and prepares for defense the line indicated to it, covering the most important directions with guard outposts. The line occupied by a guard detachment (outpost) should be convenient for defense, provide good review towards the enemy and be equipped in engineering terms.

In the security zone, the guard detachment (outpost) prepares the main, and, if time permits, also reserve positions. The gaps between the outposts and the tank-dangerous directions must be under constant observation and covered by artillery and other fire weapons. At the direction of the commander of the outposts, patrols are organized between the outposts, outposts can be sent forward and to the side of the outposts, and secrets can be sent to hidden approaches.

The reserve of the battalion (company) commander is located in the depths of the defense in readiness for maneuver in the threatened direction.

To conduct reconnaissance in front of the front and on the flanks, the battalion (company) commander organizes observation and sends out a reconnaissance patrol and patrol squads (tanks).

2.2. The tasks of the commander of the battalion (company), assigned to the outpost.

The commander of the battalion (company) assigned to the outpost, having received the task, understands it, assesses the situation, makes a decision on the map, brings the tasks to his subordinates, secretly withdraws the battalion (company) to the area near the indicated line, organizes observation and security, conducts reconnaissance, clarifies the decision, issues a combat order and organizes the occupation of the indicated line.

When setting tasks, the battalion (company) commander in the combat order indicates:

    For outposts - means of reinforcement, a security zone, positions and the degree of their engineering equipment, where to set up outposts, patrols and secrets, a line to which to conduct reconnaissance, and the procedure for repelling an enemy attack;

    Reserve - location area, what actions to be prepared for;

    Artillery units - firing positions and tasks to support the battle of outposts;

    For an anti-aircraft subunit - starting (firing) positions, mission, time and readiness levels, and for motorized rifle (tank) subunits - the order of firing at enemy air targets.

After issuing a combat order, the battalion (company) commander organizes interaction, gives instructions on the comprehensive provision of combat and protection against high-precision weapons, determines the procedure for maintaining communication with units, and the commanders of outposts and units assigned to conduct reconnaissance, in addition, reports a review.

The tasks of outposts, attached to reinforcements, as well as the places of observation posts (observers), posts (points) designations are specified directly on the ground during reconnaissance.

Moscow State Agroengineering University. V.P. Goryachkina Engineering Economic Institute Faculty of Military Education Abstract

The platoon, when deployed on the spot, must be in constant readiness to repel an attack by a ground, air enemy and destroy his sabotage and reconnaissance groups. Therefore, in the platoon, in addition to observation, direct protection , which includes patrols serving by bypassing the location.

When sent out, patrol officers indicate:

The route of movement;

Service order;

Procedure for detecting an enemy;

Pass.

Patrolmen bypass the location area along the indicated route and carefully inspect the area. They capture or destroy single enemy soldiers. When an enemy is detected, the senior patrolman organizes observation of his actions and immediately reports this to the platoon commander.

For every day, a pass and recall are established to identify their military personnel.

The preparation of infantry fighting vehicles, tanks and weapons is carried out at the time set by the commander and is carried out by crews, crews, drivers and personnel under the direct supervision of the platoon commander. It may include: refueling vehicles with fuel, checking the serviceability and readiness for the use of weapons, etc. If necessary, weapons and military equipment can be replenished with ammunition, as well as checking the performance of radio equipment.

Parts when located on the spot are protected not only by direct, but also outpost , exposed in threatened directions and intercepting the main approaches to the location area.

The number and composition of subunits allocated for outpost protection depend on the distance of the protected units from the enemy, the importance of the protected direction, the time required for the deployment and entry into battle of the protected units, the nature of the terrain and the conditions of observation.

When troops are deployed on the spot, a platoon with reinforcements is assigned to outpost, issued from a guard detachment or a guarded unit with the task of:

1. Prevent the penetration of enemy reconnaissance to protected units;

2. Timely detect the appearance of a ground enemy, warn the protected troops about him;

3. In the event of an enemy attack, stubbornly defend the position taken.

The distance of the outpost from the guarded units can be up to 5 km, and sometimes more.

A platoon assigned to a guard outpost is given a guard strip up to 2 km wide. In the lane allocated for guarding, the outpost occupies a line convenient for defense, where it equips the main position. If there is time, in addition to the main one, a reserve position can also be prepared. From these positions, the entire security zone is covered by fire. The gaps between the outposts and the tank-dangerous directions must be under constant observation and covered by artillery fire.

Usually a platoon assigned to a guard outpost, may be given machine gun, grenade launcher, and sometimes anti-aircraft squad, tank or anti-tank unit.

In order to timely detect an advancing enemy, especially from hidden approaches, the platoon commander must provide for the deployment secrets. Their number depends on the presence of closed areas of terrain, allowing the enemy to concentrate, carry out covert maneuvers and suddenly attack or bypass the outpost position. Depending on this, 1-2 secrets can be set in the guard zone, and sometimes more.

52) Determination of the combat capabilities of the squad in the offensive and defense, on which they depend and their terms.

Under combat capabilities, it is customary to understand quantitative and qualitative indicators that characterize the capabilities of subunits to perform certain combat missions for a specified time in a specific situation.

Combat capabilities depend:

On the number of personnel, the level of their combat training and political and moral state;

Availability and condition of weapons, military and other equipment;

The art of the command staff in the management of units;

Organizational structure troops and their provision with material and technical means, as well as the composition and nature of enemy counteraction;

terrain conditions;

Meteorological situation.

At the platoon's stronghold a squad can defend a position, being in the center, on the right or left flank. The gaps between squads can be up to 50 m. At the position, the squad is placed so that there are intervals of up to 15 m between the soldiers. The squad leader is usually located in a position in a place where it is more convenient to control the squad, observe the terrain and the signals of the platoon commander. As a rule, the squad leader is located in the center of the position, next to him are a machine gunner and a grenade launcher.

Combat capabilities squads in the defense are made up of fire and maneuver capabilities.

Firepower - these are the capabilities of small arms to destroy manpower and armored targets of the enemy with the fire of a grenade launcher and infantry fighting vehicles.

Maneuverability- these are indicators of the squad that characterize the degree of its mobility, the ability to move in a certain time, as well as deployment and maneuver during the battle. As an indicator of maneuverability, the time required for the implementation of certain actions is usually taken.

Combat capabilities of the squad in the offensive are indicators that characterize the ability of the department to perform certain combat missions for a specified time under specific conditions.

The components of combat capabilities are firepower and maneuverability.

Firepower- these are the possibilities of detachment to cause damage to the enemy by fire anti-tank weapons, BMP and small arms.

Maneuverability- this is the ability of the detachment to maneuver, overcome the zones of radioactive contamination and areas of destruction, make marches characterized by temporary indicators.

Forces and means of communication in motorized rifle battalion. Organization of communications in combat. The procedure for drawing up a diagram of the organization of radio communications.

To build a communication system in the SME there is a communications platoon. It is designed to deploy a communications center (CS) of the KNP SME and provide communications to the commander and chief of staff (NSh) of the battalion on the spot and on the move.

The communications platoon commander is the battalion communications chief.

Platoon SME communications consists of three departments:

Departments of the battalion commander;

Departments of the NSh battalion;

Communication departments.

Management departments designed to provide communication commander and NSh battalion with the brigade commander, brigade headquarters, commanders of subordinate, attached and interacting units.

In service with the command and control departments of the battalion commander and the NSh battalion there is fighting machine BMP control - 1 (2) K.

The BMP-1K combat control vehicles include the following means of communication:

Radio station R-123M - 2 sets;

Telephone set TA-57 - 1 piece;

Cable P-274M - 500 m;

TPU (tank intercom) R-124 - 1 set;

In order to prevent a surprise attack by the enemy on subunits in place, to prevent the penetration of reconnaissance into the area of location, and also to ensure favorable conditions for deployment and entry into battle or maneuver, outposts are organized.

The line occupied by a guard detachment (outpost) should be convenient for defense, provide a good view in the direction of the enemy, and be equipped in terms of engineering.

1. LOCATION ON THE SITE

553. Location on the spot - the placement of subunits of a battalion (company) in a designated area: initial (when attacking with advancement from the depth, forcing and landing), concentration, rest and other areas.

The battalion (company) when deployed on the spot must be in constant readiness to repel an attack by an air and ground enemy, to maneuver in a new direction and to perform other suddenly arising tasks.

554. When deployed on the spot, troops are deployed in places favorable for organizing protection against weapons of mass destruction and precision weapons that have natural masks and allow for quick maneuver. Location areas should provide: dispersal and
covert placement of units; the ability to quickly collect and maneuver

in the right direction; convenience of accommodation and recreation of personnel; favorable conditions in sanitary and epidemic terms; availability of a sufficient number of water sources, roads and access roads suitable for the movement of weapons and military equipment.

555. The battalion is assigned a concentration area, the size of which can be before 10 sq. km.

The battalion in the designated area is located by subunits and in such a way that, with the beginning of the exit from the area, it does not make unnecessary movements.

Areas for the location of tank (motorized rifle) companies, in order to ensure maneuver and provide assistance to security units, are usually assigned along the outer perimeter of the area where the battalion is located.

Artillery, technical support and rear units, as a rule, are located in its center. To support the guard subunits, duty artillery subunits are assigned, which can fire both from the areas they occupy, and from temporary firing positions and shooting sites.

The order in which battalion subunits are deployed depends on the nature of the forthcoming operations, the duration of their stay in the area, the conditions of the situation, and the nature of the terrain. The location of units under power lines, near gas and oil pipelines, radiation, chemically and biologically hazardous objects is not allowed.

A motorized rifle (tank) company in the area indicated to it is usually located along the advance route, but away from it at distances and intervals that reduce the effectiveness of their destruction by nuclear strikes, air strikes, precision weapons and enemy artillery fire. The distance in open areas between tanks, infantry fighting vehicles (armored personnel carriers) can be 100-150 m, between platoons - 300-400 m and between companies 1-1,5 km.

Artillery subunits (subunits) are deployed in full strength or platoons in threatened directions, being in constant readiness to open fire.

The grenade launcher and anti-tank units of the battalion are usually located with motorized rifle companies.

To solve problems that suddenly arise in the battalion, a duty unit is assigned as part of a platoon. It is located, as a rule, in the area occupied by its company.

556. The organization of the location of the battalion (company) on the spot includes: making a decision, setting tasks for units (forces and means), planning actions, organizing interaction, comprehensive support and control.

557. At in clarifying the task of deploying on the spot, the battalion (company) commander pays special attention to the activities carried out by the senior commander in the interests of reconnaissance of the area of \u200b\u200bthe forthcoming location of units; the composition of the forces and means allocated by decision of the senior commander to the duty unit, guard and direct protection, and their tasks.

558. At In assessing the enemy, the battalion (company) commander determines his removal, the possibilities for landing tactical airborne assault forces and sending in sabotage and reconnaissance forces, for the use of reconnaissance and strike systems and other means of destruction. Based on the assessment of the enemy, the battalion (company) commander outlines the directions and composition of direct protection, measures for tactical camouflage and fortification equipment of the location area.

If outposts are not appointed by decision of the senior commander, the battalion commander, as a result of an assessment of the enemy, can appoint an outpost and determine its tasks.

When evaluating terrain commander of the battalion (company) studies its protective and camouflage properties, the possibility of using them to protect troops; conditions for the actions of landing forces, sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the enemy and other issues.

559. In the decision on the location on the spot, the battalion (company) commander, in addition to the usual questions, determines:

in the plan - the direction of focusing the main efforts on the stages of accomplishing the task (when occupying the specified area and dislocating units in it, performing tasks to repel attacks from an air enemy and its ground forces; preparing units for upcoming actions); forms and methods of accomplishing the task (according to the stages of its implementation); distribution of forces and means (composition of the duty unit, guard and direct protection); ensuring secrecy in the preparation and implementation of the task (by stages of its implementation);

in tasks for subdivisions (forces and means) - places (areas) of location, the order and time of their occupation; composition, location of the duty unit, tasks for which he should be ready, the order of the shift; composition, lines, bands and tasks of guard guards; areas of location of the artillery unit, temporary firing positions and tasks to support the actions of the guard guard and the unit on duty.

560. Before the battalion (company) enters the designated area, the senior commander organizes
his reconnaissance. The reconnaissance group usually includes one of the battalion headquarters officers and one officer (ensign, sergeant) from each company (battery).

They clarify the areas of location of the battalion (location of companies, batteries), regular and attached units (forces and means), command and observation posts, reconnoiter and designate access roads, deployment lines in case of a surprise attack by the enemy, meet their units and escort them to designated places. .

561. Prior to the troops occupying areas of location, especially on the ground, previously occupying
carried out by the enemy, their thorough reconnaissance is carried out in order to identify the remaining groups of the enemy, his reconnaissance and signaling devices, contaminated and mined areas of the terrain, sources of water and determine its suitability for consumption.

Data on the results of reconnaissance are reported to the battalion (company) commander. Based on the report, the commander clarifies his decision and sets tasks for the units.

562. When staging location tasks
on the spot, the battalion (company) commander indicates:

subdivisions - the main and reserve areas (places) of location, the procedure for their occupation and engineering equipment;

subdivisions (subdivisions) of artillery - location area, temporary firing positions (firing sites), the order of their occupation, the order of support

actions of patrol units and the duty unit;

duty unit - composition, tasks and location.

In order to organize a possible repulse of an attack by a ground enemy, companies (platoons) and attached fire weapons are assigned missions, advance routes, and positions (firing lines).

To repel an attack by an air enemy, the battalion (company) commander determines which fire weapons are on duty in the subunits and indicates the order of firing.

563. The headquarters of the battalion, when located on the spot, develops a combat order, a scheme for the protection and defense of the location area, a report on the combat and numerical strength. In addition, the headquarters, together with the deputy commanders of the battalion for armaments and logistics, is developing a report on technical, logistic support, applications for the material support of units.

564. AT instructions on interaction for the period of occupying the area (place) of location, the battalion (company) commander coordinates the actions of the subunits of the battalion (company) among themselves, with the forces and means of the commandant service and command and control bodies when occupying the specified area.

The commander of the battalion (company) organizes interaction in repelling enemy strikes after the battalion (company) has occupied the indicated area (location). At the same time, the commander must coordinate the efforts of the outposts, the duty unit, artillery and motorized rifle (tank) units in repelling enemy surprise attacks and in destroying his airborne (airmobile) assault forces, sabotage and reconnaissance groups and irregular armed formations.

After setting tasks for subunits (forces and assets) and organizing interaction, the battalion (company) commander gives instructions on comprehensive support, organization of the engineering equipment of the area, ensuring the readiness of subunits (forces and assets) to repel a sudden enemy attack.

565. The command and observation post of a battalion (company) is deployed in such a way as to ensure continuous control of subunits both while they are in place and when moving out of the occupied area. Communication with units is usually carried out by mobile and wired means of communication. The operation of radio facilities for transmission is prohibited.

566. The areas of location of the units are occupied as they approach. Stopping columns of units on the roads in anticipation of the location in the allotted area is not allowed.

In the location area, reconnaissance of an air enemy and warning about him, engineering, radiation, chemical, biological reconnaissance are organized and continuously conducted, measures are taken to protect troops, as well as sanitary-hygienic, anti-epidemic, educational and other measures.

567. The engineering equipment of the location area (locations) begins immediately with the arrival of units in them. Slots are opened for the personnel, and if there is time, dugouts and shelters are prepared; for weapons and military equipment, as well as for stocks of materiel, trenches and shelters are equipped. Armament and military equipment, engineering structures are carefully masked, provided with radio-scattering and heat-reflecting coatings, masks. In addition, measures are being taken to hide them from technical means enemy reconnaissance. Radio and heat-emitting objects are masked with special coatings (screens), and false objects (heat traps) are equipped near them. Masking is checked by visual observation.

When located in a settlement, basements of buildings, local shelters and other solid structures are used as shelters.

In order to ensure maneuver, the existing roads are being explored. In the location area and on the approaches to it, routes are reconnoitered and prepared for the exit of subunits from it and maneuver in repelling an enemy attack. Freelance demining teams are located in the areas of their subunits in readiness to make passages in minefields remotely laid by the enemy.

568. The battalion (company) must always be ready to change of area (place) of location. It is carried out by order of the senior commander and is carried out in an organized, covert manner, in a short time and with the preservation of readiness for the performance of a combat mission. In case the enemy uses nuclear, chemical, biological weapons, special processing of weapons and military equipment is carried out outside the new areas of location.

569. In case of a long-term location on the spot, the deployment of a battalion (company), as a rule, is carried out on the basis of the provisions of the Charter of the Internal Service of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

Rectilinear arrangement of divisions is not allowed. The subunits are deployed in a manner that ensures effective repulsion of attacks by enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups and irregular formations of the enemy. A battalion (company) may be assigned to a guard detachment (outpost). The guard detachment (outpost) is indicated the line of defense, the zone of protection and reconnaissance. The line of defense can reach along the front: for a battalion - before 10 km, for a company - before 5 km. The removal of guard detachments and outposts from protected units (subdivisions) can be 5-15 km.

The guard detachment (outpost) is located at a line convenient for defense, providing a good overview in the direction of a possible appearance of the enemy and intercepting all the main roads and approaches to the location area. In the mountains, outposts take up positions in the areas of road junctions, bridges, on commanding heights, in mountain passes and on passes.

575. Order of battle a guard detachment (outpost) is built in one echelon on a broad front and, as a rule, includes the same elements as in the defense. Outposts (posts) are set up in the most important areas.

The stronghold of the platoon is equipped with up to 400 m along the front and 400 m in depth. If time permits, a dug-out with four exits can be set up in the center of the stronghold, ensuring the subunits' rapid exit to firing positions. From each exit from the dugout, message passages are torn off with a length 100-120 m each with firing positions of squads equipped in them, providing firing in both directions and quick maneuver of forces and means in the threatened direction. The firing positions of combat vehicles are set up at the positions of squads and along the perimeter of a strong point in the most probable areas of enemy action.

The engineering equipment of the outpost line is carried out in the same way as in the defense. At the turn, the main, and if there is time, spare firing positions for all fire weapons are equipped.

577. Fire system organized taking into account the conduct of all-round defense. An artillery subunit is deployed in battle formation with the task of defeating the enemy on the outskirts of outpost positions and supporting his battle. In front of the outpost position, in the intervals between subunits, fixed obstruction lights are prepared. Areas of firing positions are chosen in areas where there is a danger of tanks, with the calculation of direct fire. Tanks attached to a motorized rifle subunit can be used for fire ambushes and as roaming weapons.

578. Work on organization of action in a guard detachment (outpost), the commander of a battalion (company) builds in the same way as in organizing defense in conditions out of contact with the enemy.
