Today, the command of the oldest naval unit of the Black Sea Fleet - the missile boat brigade - solemnly welcomed the crew of the Ivanovets personalized missile boat, commanded by Captain 3rd Rank Alexei Kupriyanov, after three months of combat service, KIA correspondent reports.

Missile boats quite rarely go to the far sea zone; they are not designed for operations in isolation from the main forces. Especially for times like these. But the situation demanded and the boat sailors completed the task. Therefore, they were greeted solemnly, with an orchestra, a loaf and a roast pig.

The first to report on the fulfillment of the assigned tasks was the deputy commander of the tactical group of missile boats, Captain 3rd Rank Alexei Orlyapov, then the commander of the boat.

At the solemn rally, in addition to the command of the Crimean Naval Base and the missile boat brigade, the chairman of the council of veterans of the Sevastopol Order of Nakhimov, 1st degree, captain of the 1st rank, retired Nikolai Khalimon, spoke at the solemn rally. The veteran of the illustrious unit recalled that 13 Heroes became students of the brigade Soviet Union. Busts of the legendary boatmen are installed on the Alley of Brigade Heroes. In the same place, on a pedestal, there is a torpedo boat from the times of the Great Patriotic War.

“We, veterans, are pleased to realize that today's boat sailors continue the glorious traditions of boat sailors of the older generation,” Nikolai Khalimon noted.

The most distinguished soldiers were awarded medals and certificates.

July 23 across the Bosphorus from mediterranean sea The corvette "Serpukhov" with "Caliber" missiles on board passed to Chernoye. A few days earlier, in the Syrian Tartus, he was replaced by a large missile boat "Ivanovets", called in the west "Tarantula".

As Russkaya Vesna reported, off the coast of Syria, as part of the Mediterranean flotilla of the Russian Navy, the newest small missile ships Serpukhov and Zeleny Dol, equipped with Caliber missiles, perform tasks. Previously, these two corvettes replaced each other every few months on shifts in the Mediterranean.

The modern small rocket ship "Serpukhov" is a corvette of the modernized project 21631 "Buyan-M" with an increased displacement and equipped with the latest precision weapons- a universal ship-based firing system that allows the use of Caliber and Onyx missiles.

Now, for the first time, the Serpukhov RTO off the coast of Syria was replaced not by the Zeleny Dol, but by the large missile boat (BRK) Ivanovets (Project 12411 Lightning, according to NATO classification - Tarantul-class corvettes). The DBK is designed to destroy military surface enemy ships and landing craft at sea and at base points. In addition, his standard tasks include covering Russian ships from surface and air threats.

The main weapon of "Tarantula" "Ivanovets" is 4 launchers anti-ship supersonic missiles 3 M-80 "Mosquito".

This winged supersonic homing missile makes a “hill” after launch, after which it drops to a cruising flight altitude of about 20 meters, when approaching an enemy ship it drops to 7 meters. The flight speed of the Mosquito is Mach 2.35. Due to its high speed and heavy warhead (150 kg), the missile is capable of sinking not only a medium-class ship, but also an enemy cruiser. The range of defeat "Mosquito" - up to 120 kilometers.

In addition, an AK-176 M automatic artillery mount with a caliber of 76.2 mm is installed in the bow of a large missile boat, and two six-barreled 30/54 AK-630 M guns with two tape magazines for 2000 rounds are placed at the stern to combat low-flying anti-ship missiles. and a spare belt of 1000 rounds each.

The firing range of automatic rapid-fire artillery mounts is 4000 m. In the standard mode, firing is carried out in 4–5 bursts of 20–25 shots, starting from the maximum range, at the distance of the most effective fire, fire is fired in bursts of 400 rounds with a break between bursts of 3–5 seconds .

It is also known that project 1241 missile boats are equipped with a system electronic warfare(EW) "Vympel-R2", which provides electronic warfare of a missile boat by setting active electronic interference. In addition, for the purposes of electronic warfare, Project 1241 missile boats are also equipped with two sixteen-barrel remote-controlled PK-16 launchers for setting passive jamming, firing 82-mm projectiles with chaff or heat traps.

The permanent base of the Ivanovets DBK and the Serpukhov RTO is the Hero City of Sevastopol, where the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet is located.

Story:
missile boat Project 12411

Central Design Bureau Almaz in 1973 began to develop a new boat - project 1241 Lightning. The development of the ship was carried out by a group of specialists led by the chief designer of the project E.Yu. Yukhnin. In 1978, the lead boat was built in Leningrad, which served as a prototype for a large series of these ships.

This ship is the third evolutionary stage of missile boats of this class - a project 12411 missile boat ("Tarantul-III class" according to NATO classification). This project was equipped with a modified propulsion system (diesels were installed instead of mid-flight turbines), as well as the main missile system of the ship was changed ..

The main missile system of the boat is 4 launchers of anti-ship missiles 3M-80 Moskit. Anti-ship cruise supersonic homing missile 3M-80 "Moskit" is built according to the normal aerodynamic layout with X-shaped placement of aerodynamic surfaces. After the launch, the rocket makes a “slide”, and then decreases to a cruising flight altitude of about 20 meters, when approaching the target, it drops to 7 meters (above the crest of the waves). The missile can perform intensive anti-aircraft maneuvers with overloads exceeding 10 units. The flight speed of the rocket is 2.35 M.

Due to the huge kinetic energy"Mosquito" pierces the hull of any ship and explodes inside. Such a blow can sink not only a middle-class ship, but also a cruiser. The missile has a range of 120 km, a mass of 3.95 tons (including the warhead - 150 kg), and can be equipped with both conventional and nuclear warheads.

For firing at air, sea and coastal targets, one AK-176M automatic artillery mount with a caliber of 76.2 mm is installed in the bow of the boat. The rate of fire of the gun is 120-130 rounds / minute. Maximum range shooting 15.7 km. Shooting control methods: automatic, semi-automatic and manual.

To destroy air and small-sized sea targets, two automatic rapid-fire artillery mounts AK-630M caliber 30 mm. The rate of fire of the guns is 4000-5000 rounds / minute. The maximum firing range is up to 8 km.

For firing at air targets, a post for the Igla portable anti-aircraft missile system (MANPADS) was installed in the stern of the boat.

The missile boat "R-334" of project 12411 was laid down on 01/04/1988 at the Sredne-Nevsky Shipyard (serial number 211), launched on 07/28/1989 and 12/30/1989 joined the Black Sea Fleet.

In November 1998, an agreement was concluded between 41 BrRKA and the administration Ivanovo region about boss relationships. In 2000, the boat was renamed "Ivanovets".

It is part of the 41st brigade of missile boats based on Karantinnaya Bay (Sevastopol).

This missile boat different time commanded:
- Captain 3rd rank Lopatko V.A.

The large missile boat "Ivanovets" (former "R-334") of project 12411 code "Lightning-1" (according to NATO classification - Tarantul-class corvettes) is designed to destroy enemy combat surface ships, landing and Vehicle and ships at sea, base points, naval groups and their cover, as well as to cover their ships and vessels from surface and air threats.

The boat under the name "R-334" was laid down on January 4, 1988, building number 211, at the Sredne-Nevsky Shipyard. Launched on July 28, 1989. Joined the Black Sea Fleet on December 30, 1989. Since 1990 it has tail number 954.

Main characteristics: Standard displacement 436 tons, total displacement 493 tons. Length 56.1 meters, width 10.2 meters, draft 2.5 meters. Full speed 41 knots. Cruising range 1600 miles at 14 knots, 450 miles at 36 knots. Autonomy 10 days. The crew of 40 people, including 5 officers.

Power plant: 2x4000 hp M-510 diesels, 2x12000 hp GTU M-70, 2 fixed pitch propellers, 2 diesel generators of 200 kW each, 1 diesel generator of 100 kW.

August 20, 2014 marks the 95th anniversary of the founding of the oldest naval unit - the 41st Sevastopol Order of Nakhimov 1st Class Missile Boat Brigade. The history of this compound begins in 1919, when during civil war a group of high-speed fighter boats consisting of boats "Daring", "Brave" and "Terrible" carried out a landing near the city of Kamyshin on the Volga River in order to destroy the White Guards and interventionists located in the area. After the Civil War in 1930, the boats were consolidated into the division of torpedo boats.

In the first half of the 1930s, a large-scale construction of the latest at that time high-speed torpedo boats of the G-5 type was launched in the Soviet Union; the lead boat of this project arrived in Sevastopol in mid-February 1933. After successful sea trials, the boats began to enter the formation, in the future they will form its basis.

Boats type ”G-5”

At the same time, in connection with the arrival of new G-5 units, the torpedo boat division was reorganized and expanded to a brigade. It is this connection that will meet the Great Patriotic War.

On the night of June 22, 1941, the brigade, like the rest of the Black Sea Fleet, was put on high alert by order of the People's Commissar of the Navy N.G. Kuznetsov. Active actions Black Sea boat boats during the Second World War led to large-scale losses on the part of the Germans. So, during the fighting, the G-5 boats destroyed about 80 enemy ships and vessels, shot down over 111 aircraft, and also landed about 5,000 amphibious troops.

It should be noted that 13 commanders were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. For courage and perseverance shown in the Great Patriotic War the unit was awarded the Order of Nakhimov 1st degree, after which the brigade began to bear his name.

In the post-war years in the 1950s, the torpedo boat brigade was reorganized into a division, and on October 30, 1961 into a missile boat brigade. The renaming of the formation occurred due to the arrival of new Project 183R missile boats into its composition. Further personnel 41 brigades of missile boats mastered new weapons and equipment. So in 1970, for the first time in the history of the brigade, small missile ships of the 3rd rank "Storm" and "Breeze" of project 1234 of the "Gadfly" type were transferred to its composition. The arrival of ships of this class expanded the possibilities of connection, and now completely different tasks were set before the brigade. For example, the performance of combat service as part of the 5th Operational Mediterranean Squadron of the USSR Navy, which consisted in tracking NATO aircraft carrier strike groups. Since that time, the brigade began to solve problems not only in the coastal zone, but also in the far operating room.

In 1987, it was in the 41st Sevastopol Order of Nakhimov, 1st degree, missile boat brigade that the newest small “MRK-27” of project 1239 was included, later renamed “Bora”. This ship, which has no analogues in the world in terms of its design and combat capabilities, was successfully mastered in the brigade. After being accepted into the fleet, Bora became the flagship of the missile boat formation, which it remains to this day.

A rather difficult period for the boatmen was the years of the collapse of the USSR and the division of the Red Banner Black Sea Fleet. As you know, a certain part of the missile boats went to Ukraine, in the same years, problems began in the fleet with the supply of fuel for ships. Nevertheless, the connection did not lose its combat potential, and continued to perform tasks as intended. So in the period from 1990 to 1996, the brigade won the prize of the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy for missile training 5 times.

Missile boats and small missile ships continued to be on duty in the bases and in the Black Sea. All these actions helped in a difficult period for the fleet to maintain the unity and cohesion of the Black Sea boatmen, and today, by right, 41 brigade is considered the most mobile unit of the Red Banner Black Sea Fleet.

Gradually moving away from the events of the early 90s, the fleet began to restore its former power. Despite strong reductions, both in quantitative and qualitative composition, the naval formations of the fleet continued to be in service and solve tasks as intended.

In the early 2000s, for the first time in the last 10 years, the brigade was replenished with a new combat unit. In April 2002, the newest 2nd rank hovercraft Samum was transferred from the Twice Red Banner Baltic Fleet to the brigade, becoming the second project 1239 ship in the Russian Navy. It is worth saying that such a decision was made due to the regular convictions of the chief designer of these ships, Valerian Korolkov, who proves the effectiveness of the actions of these ships only if they serve in the same fleet.

After the Samum missile ship was transferred to the brigade, the formation greatly strengthened its strike component. The Red Banner Black Sea Fleet now had a mobile strike group "Sivuchs" capable of effectively fighting any surface enemy in the Black Sea. In this matter Special attention was given to the Turkish Navy, which after the collapse of the USSR were considered the most powerful in the Black Sea. Today, creating a conditional sea battle with a potential enemy, we can safely say that the RKVP "Bora" and "Samum" are able to provide effective resistance to any enemy in the Black Sea, including the Turkish Navy.

In the mid-2000s, the brigade began to increasingly take part in many exercises and training camps, campaigns of the Red Banner Black Sea Fleet. The boats and their crews are repeatedly declared the best in the fleet in various types of training.

August 2008 was the most serious test for the connection, when during the Georgian conflict the brigade's ships were in the combat zone. It is impossible not to remember sea battle between a detachment of ships of the Red Banner Black Sea Fleet and boats of the Georgian Navy, which took place on August 10, 2008. During the battle, the Mirage RTO launched two P-120 Malachite anti-ship missiles and one OSA-M anti-aircraft missile, as a result of which 2 Georgian patrol boats were destroyed.

After the end of the conflict, the decision of the command of the Red Banner Black Sea Fleet established the carrying of a regular combat duty off the coast of Abkhazia. So, in the period from 2008 to the present day, the entire composition of the unit solved the tasks of combat duty in this area, and most of the ships, especially missile boats of the Molniya type, were there several times a year.

Already in the next 2009, another test exam awaited the katernikovs. In the Black Sea, the operational-strategic exercises "Kavkaz-2009" began, in which most of the brigade took part, including the flagship of the formation - RKVP "Bora". The ships carried out a whole range of artillery and rocket firing, conducted joint maneuvers, worked out elements of interaction with maritime forces supply of the fleet.

Every year, the brigade, as part of the combat training of the fleet, conducts rocket firing at the firing range near Cape Tarkhankut. Small missile ships and missile boats carry out launches of cruise anti-ship missiles at specified distances, work out the coordination of personnel actions.

The next large-scale exercises "Kavkaz-2012" once again proved the readiness of the formation to solve any tasks. In them, the brigade was represented by RTOs "Mirage" and "Shtil", missile boats "Ivanovets" and "R-109" which, as part of tactical strike groups, solved the tasks of searching for and destroying a surface enemy, and also carried out fire support during the landing.

In April 2013, the formation was given the task of conducting rocket firing for the prize of the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy. To solve this problem, 2 tactical strike groups were identified, the first included small missile ships "Mirage" and "Shtil", the second included missile boats "Ivanovets" and "R-60". Shooting was carried out at a distance of 80 km in the combat training ground near Cape Tarkhankut. From the board of the headquarters ship, the role of which was performed by the Bora RKVP, the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Viktor Chirkov, personally observed the firing.

April 27, 2013 at 12:00 local time, the group launched a missile attack on surface targets, launching cruise missiles complex "Mosquito" and "Malachite". After the shooting, observers reported that all targets were destroyed.

At the end of 2013, the missile boat brigade won the next prize of the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy for missile training.

I would like to separately note that 2013 actually became the most active, and most importantly significant for the connection over the past few years. After the completion of missile firing for the prize of the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, the ships of the formation began to solve problems outside the coastal sea zone, which has not been carried out for the past 20 years. So, in April 2013, the flagship of the RKVP formation "Bora" called at the Black Sea ports of Bulgaria, Georgia, Romania and Turkey as part of the ongoing exercises "BLACKSEAFOR". And already in next month the crew of "Bora" was supplied new task– arrive at the port of Istanbul to participate in international exhibition technology and weapons. The ship proudly represented the Russian Federation and the Red Banner Black Sea Fleet, and on May 13, on the day of the 230th anniversary of the native fleet, it successfully returned to the base.

At this, the activity of the connection in the far zone did not stop. On June 1, 2013, an operational formation of the Russian Navy began to operate on a permanent basis in the Mediterranean Sea, mainly consisting of ships of the 1st and 2nd ranks of the far sea zone. The most actively used here are large landing ships, which solve tasks in this area according to their intended purpose.

In July, the command made a decision to send to Eastern part Mediterranean missile boat "R-60" in order to ensure the protection of the detachment landing ships at the sea crossing. Having completed preparations for the exit, the boat under the command of Captain 3rd Rank Evgeny Kuzmin left Sevastopol on August 10 and headed for the Bosphorus. Having crossed the Black Sea straits, the R-60 became part of the operational formation of the Russian Navy in the Mediterranean Sea. The total duration of the combat service of the boat was about 15 days. This case was the first in modern history navy Russia, when the missile boats went back to military service to the far operating area. The last time the tasks of combat service in these areas were solved by boatmen back in the Soviet years.

On October 1, 2013, the ships of the Red Banner Black Sea Fleet embarked on a new important and responsible task. In order to ensure the safety of holding winter Olympic Games In Sochi, the Black Sea Fleet, together with other structures of the Russian Armed Forces, began to carry out combat duty off the coast of the Caucasus. In total, in the period from October 2013 to February 2014, more than half of the ships of the formation solved the tasks of combat duty. Among them are small missile ships Mirage and Shtil, missile boats Ivanovets, R-109 and R-239.

One cannot fail to say that it is the brigade that is responsible for tracking the ships of the NATO Navy, whose visits to the Black Sea have become more frequent in recent times several times. Missile boats of the Molniya type, which provide regular surveillance, are particularly active in solving this problem.

After the return of Crimea to Russian Federation the command of the fleet decided to hold large-scale events on the Day of the Russian Navy on July 27. A difficult task was set before the personnel of the brigade, according to the plans of the parade, it was necessary to launch two anti-ship cruise missiles from the waters of the Sevastopol Bay. This exercise was last performed almost 15 years ago, since the Ukrainian authorities, referring to security issues, established a ban on any shooting in the bay. In this regard, it was decided to start restoring the technical readiness of the R-71 missile boat of project 1241.7 armed missile system"Termite". Specialists of the 13th shipyard repaired the boat in a few months, and already in June it went for the first sea trials.

On July 27, during the Russian Navy Day parade, the R-71 missile boat carried out a successful double launch of P-15 cruise missiles from the waters of the Sevastopol Bay. According to many observers, this particular episode of the holiday was the most spectacular of the parade. It was decided to hold annual firing during the celebration of the Day of the Russian Navy. In addition to the R-71 missile boat, the first parade of the Russian Navy Day on the territory of the Russian Federation in Sevastopol was attended by the Ivanovets, R-239 and R-109 missile boats, the Mirage small missile ship, as well as missile ships "Bora" and "Samum".

EPILOGUE

In early July 2014, once again, a brigade of missile boats entered the combat training ranges to launch cruise missiles. During these maneuvers, for the first time, ships of the Auxiliary Fleet, excluded from the Navy, were used as targets, namely the target ship and the floating ship repair shop.

On July 4, divided into two tactical strike groups, the ships of the brigade, together with the bomber aircraft of the Red Banner Black Sea Fleet, carried out missile strikes against sea targets. Having destroyed the surface targets of the mock enemy, the ships proceeded to launch artillery strikes on targets, and also launched anti-aircraft missiles. The exercises were observed from the board of the Samum RKVP by the Deputy Commander Black Sea Fleet Vice-Admiral Valery Kulikov, who positively assessed the actions of boatmen.

It is worth noting that at that time a group of NATO naval ships was in the Black Sea, and these maneuvers became a kind of response from Russia to the entry of NATO ships into the Black Sea region.

To date, the 41st Sevastopol Order of Nakhimov, 1st Class, Missile Boat Brigade is rightfully considered the most combat-ready and mobile unit of the fleet. After the reform of the organization of the Armed Forces carried out in 2012, the brigade includes the 166th Novorossiysk division of small missile ships and a tactical group of missile boats. Their composition is presented in the following tables:

Today, on the day of its anniversary, the missile boat brigade continues to perform tasks in the interests of the fleet, performing them smoothly and accurately. The connection has a future, in the future it is planned to enter the composition of new small missile ships of project 21631 of the Buyan-2 type, which are being built at the Zelenodolsk shipbuilding plant. These newest ships, armed with a new shock missile weapons capable of hitting both sea and coastal targets at long distances. There is not a drop of doubt that the personnel of the brigade will successfully master the new weapons and equipment and reliably put them in service with our fleet.

This legendary unit is commanded by Captain 1st Rank Alexander Tolmachev.
