Will the heat subside in the southern regions of Siberia, the forecast for the weekend. The heat throws into the cold Will the heat subside in the near future

Auto 25.07.2019

"The unstable weather today across most of the country is a typical example of what awaits us in the summer," - said " Russian newspaper" Director of the Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand. "And in general, other months are expected to be above the norm," he notes. But this does not guarantee the uniformity of the temperature regime. There will be an alternation of periods of dry and hot weather with cold snaps and rains.

Forecasters expect enough warm summer, the temperature background of which will be significantly higher than last year. "If we compare May last year and this year, then the difference in temperature reaches about 8 degrees - a huge difference. And we predict that in June there will be a similar situation," the director of the Hydrometeorological Center believes.

The peak of the summer heat should occur in July, although not in all regions. "Traditionally, the hottest month in the continental regions of our country is July. And on Black Sea coast- August. For seaside towns, this is a common phenomenon associated with warming up water," Roman Vilfand notes.

Hot summers can significantly worsen the situation with forest fires. Already now, in many regions of the northwestern district, a high fire danger is predicted. "We assess this situation as probable in June as well," explains Vilfand. In conditions of clear weather and white nights, the sun constantly warms up the underlying surface, and the soil does not have time to cool. "That's why the fire danger is increased there," the meteorologist says.

June will be the warmest in the continental part of the country, and August by the sea

Vilfand specifies that in most regions of the European part of the country in temperate latitudes early fire hazard is not predicted. Ever since autumn, when a lot of rain fell, the soil was well saturated with moisture. And in March, the snow melted well, saturating the soil. "Even if there is a period of dry weather, the soil is saturated with moisture, so there is no early fire risk forecast until mid-June," Vilfand said.

The summer temperature in May has already shown its reverse side. The rainy weather at the end of May is a consequence of the early warm weather. "There are many regions where May heavy rains, thunderstorms and even hail. AT Krasnodar Territory, Karachay-Cherkessia, Rostov region, Adygea. Very heavy rain has already passed in Krasnodar and the rain will continue, the wind will increase up to 20 meters per second," Vilfand continues. Very strong wind forecasted in the southern regions of Khakassia. In Altai, it will reach 25 meters per second. "It's already dangerous phenomenon when trees break, roofs can be damaged," the meteorologist noted.

At the same time, frosts are expected in a number of completely non-northern territories at the end of May. For example, in the Orenburg region, in the south of the Urals. "The temperature at night in these areas can drop to 3 degrees," Roman Vilfand said. In the southern regions Krasnoyarsk Territory and in Khakassia it is predicted wet snow. Frosts are also possible in the north of the Volga Federal District on May 25. It will be very cold for Muscovites on Saturday night, the temperature will drop to 2-7 degrees. Frost is possible on the ground. On Sunday, there will be a noticeable warming. The weather will return to summer values again.

In the European part of Russia, the heat begins to subside: in St. Petersburg it is already 24-25 degrees instead of a thirty-degree heat. Will the heat leave other regions of the country? The presenters of "Morning of Russia" asked Vadim Zavodchenkov, the leading specialist of the FOBOS Weather Center, about this.

According to him, in most regions in the European part of the country, the heat will really weaken - the temperature will drop everywhere. The heat has significantly spoiled the ecological situation in metropolitan area but now things are getting better. "Anticyclone processes contribute to the accumulation of harmful impurities in the surface layer of the atmosphere, but the rains that we expect today will purify the air of the metropolis," the forecaster said.

A thunderstorm front has already begun to break into the center of the country today. He will determine the course of weather processes over the weekend. The temperature will begin to come within the limits of the climatic norm: in the north of the region 22-27 degrees, in the Central Black Earth and in the south - from 27 to 32.

The most a difficult situation has developed in the Volga region: it is very hot there, very dry and forest fires are blazing. The situation is difficult in the Komi Republic, but it will improve there. Saturday in the south of the European territory of Russia is expected to be very sunny and hot: here 33-38 degrees, and in the lower reaches of the Volga - from 38 to 43. Don - 33-38.

On the middle Volga, Saturday will also be hot, without rain. Here from 31 to 36 degrees. On Sunday, showers with thunderstorms will pass and the temperature will drop by 4-5 degrees on average.

In the north of the European territory of the country, the weather will be contrasting: the north and north-west of the region will be covered by the Arctic anticyclone. Here, on Saturday, the rains will begin to subside, and in the southern part, showers with thunderstorms will still persist. Temperature regime the same contrast: in the north - a drop in temperature to 18-23 degrees, in the Novgorod region and in the Pskov region - 21-26 with showers and thunderstorms.

The inhabitants of the Urals will not be lucky: a cyclone breaks through here, so the weekend will be rainy. On Saturday it is still warm - 20-25 degrees, and in the south of the region - 30. On Sunday the temperature will drop to 18-23. To the south of Siberia, this cyclone will pump very warm air masses from Central Asia. As a result, there are local showers, thunderstorms in places and an increase in temperature. On South Western Siberia- 26-31, in the south of Eastern 21-26.

On the Far East the weather is typical for this period: a humid monsoon prevails, the coast will be covered with a veil of drizzling fogs, the temperature is 18-23 degrees. In continental regions - local showers and thunderstorms, but also much warmer, 28-33 degrees.

Talking about whether to expect temperature records in August, Vadim Zavodchenkov noted that there would be no such heat, but short-term heat waves are still expected, there will be one or two cases within a month.

Victoria Degtyareva spoke about the weather on Channel 1 from the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia.

Question: In the capital region, residents are waiting for the summer. While in Siberia people hide from the scorching sun. With a detailed forecast for the Urals and Siberia, we will talk with our weather forecaster on duty, Victoria Degtyareva.

Victoria, good evening! When will the heat subside?

Dmitry, good evening. Indeed, in most of the south of Siberia, for weeks the temperature was under forty degrees. Over the coming weekend, the heat will subside slightly, but will remain above its usual values. The average daily temperature is about 30 degrees Celsius. Thirty-five degree temperatures will remain only in the Republic of Altai, Tuva and Khakassia. The temperature will begin to approach its norm due to the displacement of the active cyclonic vortex from the regions of Kazakhstan. A storm warning is in effect in a number of southern regions of Siberia. In the Altai Territory, the Novosibirsk Region, in Khakassia, Tuva, in the central and southern regions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a whole range of unfavorable weather is expected today, with persistence over the weekend: very heavy rains, downpours accompanied by thunderstorms, in some places large hail, the wind will increase in gusts up to 25 m/s. The first wave of intense rains has already passed in Khakassia. So, on June 22, at the Shira meteorological station, heavy rainfall up to 52 mm was observed in 48 minutes, and hail with a diameter of 12 mm fell. Early next week will be warm, but with rain.

Question: Will such heavy rains improve the fire situation?

Not everywhere, the class will decrease fire hazard in the Novosibirsk and Kemerovo regions, in the Altai Territory, and in the north of Altai. In the more eastern regions, on the contrary, there is a sharp increase in the number forest fires and the situation will only get worse in the coming days. The temperature is high in the Baikal area. In some areas of the Irkutsk region is expected in the afternoon 33 ... 38. and in Transbaikalia, the thermometer will rise to 40 degrees. Abnormally hot weather will pass only the western and northern regions Irkutsk region, there, with cloudiness of 23..28, showers are possible, and during thunderstorms, the wind will increase up to 18 m/s.

Question: Showers, thunderstorms, 40 degrees, is there such a variety of weather in the northern half of Siberia?

In the north of Siberia, the weather is calmer. In some places it will rain from light to moderate, only on June 25 in the north of Taimyr there are showers. Thunderstorms in some areas maximum speed wind gusts up to 18 m/s. The average daily temperature is 4-8 degrees above the climatic norm. In Salekhard +18, in Khanty-Mansiysk it is even warmer +25, on Saturday it will become a little cooler. In Evenkia and Turukhansk region +25...+35. But in the island part of Taimyr, negative temperatures are still possible.

Through the south of the Urals will pass atmospheric fronts. Heavy rains are expected mainly in the mountains. It will be colder in Bashkortostan and in Perm region, only 16…21. in Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions about 23, and in the Kurgan region up to 27 degrees of heat. On Saturday, the temperature will drop by 3-5 degrees everywhere.

In August 2018, the summer heat in Moscow will subside. Forecasters have compiled a weather forecast for August this year, according to which the first days of the month will still be hot, and by mid-August the temperature will decrease. In the middle of the month, cool weather will set in, but by the beginning of September it will become warm again.

In the coming days of August, the summer heat in Moscow will subside

In 2018, the summer in the capital was very hot. During the summer season in Moscow and the region, cases when people became ill due to high temperatures became more frequent. Cases of increased pressure, sun and heat strokes and loss of consciousness due to prolonged exposure to the sun were recorded.

Forecasters note that the first seven days of August, the summer heat will not subside yet: the temperature will remain the same, despite the increase in rainfall. Also, experts promise that this month there will be no strong winds, and abrupt weather changes are not expected. The temperature will gradually decrease and by the middle of the month it will reach the most comfortable level for a person - from +23 to +25 degrees. Forecasters advise Muscovites to be more attentive to weather conditions: very often such weather changes, although not abrupt, are the cause of colds.

At first, the summer heat in Moscow will still be felt

For the first days of August, weather forecasters continue to predict high temperatures. On average, the air temperature in the shade will reach from +25 to +29 degrees. From August 5, it will rain for several days, after which the heat will drop to +23 - +25 degrees Celsius in the sun.

Starting from August 15, when the fast comes, the air temperature will become even lower and may drop to +20 degrees in the daytime. The rain will stop at this point, but there will be a slight wind. At night, frosts up to +10 degrees Celsius are expected.

The most favorable time for planting seasonal crops will be mid-August: the ideal ratio of air temperature and precipitation will have a very good effect on crop yields. In addition, the observations of experts show that reducing the heat increases the productivity of citizens: overall well-being improves, the air is discharged and it becomes easier to breathe.

By the end of the month it will start raining again. Forecasters predict slight frosts at night, but gardeners are reassured that there should not be a critical temperature that can damage the growth and fertility of garden crops.

By September, according to experts, should recover again warm weather. The air temperature will be as comfortable as possible for the start of the new school year.

Petersburgers continue to be surprised by the hot summer: in July 2018, the temperature reached 30 degrees three times, and the rest of the time it stayed within 27–28 degrees.

"Paper" I learned from the chief weather forecaster of the Hydrometeorological Center of St. Petersburg Alexander Kolesov, because of what the city is hot and what weather to expect in August.

Why is it so hot in St. Petersburg this summer?

The reason for the unusually warm weather in St. Petersburg is the air masses. According to the chief forecaster of St. Petersburg Alexander Kolesov, they are located not only over our North-Western region, but stretch from Murmansk to Chernoy and mediterranean seas and throughout the European territory of Russia.

Now the weather is determined by the anticyclone in the north: it is located on the European territory of Russia and slightly affects Scandinavia. The Murmansk region and Karelia have long been under the anticyclone - there is little rainfall, the weather is very hot, "even warmer than in southern Russia," says Kolesov. There is a cyclone in the south of the country, so there are heavy rains and thunderstorms.

Alexander Kolesov

It is clear that this average temperature hard to accept by consumers. Everyone knows that during the day there should be so much, and at night so much. The norm for maximum temperatures is never set, because it can depend on a lot of things. For us, the maximum habitual temperature is about 25 degrees. What is higher is already warm weather, but not an abnormally hot period and not reaching any extremes.

Is such a hot summer in St. Petersburg an anomaly?

As Kolesov explains, abnormally hot weather is considered when the average daily temperature is 7 degrees above normal for five days. The norms are different everywhere, St. Petersburg is also relevant for the European territory of Russia, Murmansk, Moscow and some southern cities.

Alexander Kolesov, chief forecaster of the Hydrometeorological Center of St. Petersburg:

Now in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, we did not exceed the norm. Yes, there have been a few warmer days reaching over 7 degrees [above normal], but those were solitary days. In St. Petersburg, the temperature reached 30 degrees for only three days, the rest of the time it was cooler - 27-28 degrees.

Kolesov says that during this summer the weather has not reached a single extreme, that is, the maximum temperature during the day has not yet exceeded the temperature recorded for the entire period of observation.

What temperature for St. Petersburg is the norm?

Now, according to Kolesov, the norm for St. Petersburg is 18 degrees, but "on this moment We are at the peak of the temperature norm.” The forecaster says that further it will begin to drop - to 17.8 degrees.

According to weather forecasts, hot weather will continue in St. Petersburg for an indefinite period. The nature of the weather persists, it continues to be determined by the anticyclone, there is practically no precipitation. Next Friday, Saturday and Sunday - July 27-29 - will be very hot. According to Kolesov, now, perhaps, conditions are being created for abnormally hot weather, but it is not known whether the extremes will be beaten.

When can we expect cool weather?

Alexander Kolesov, chief forecaster of the Hydrometeorological Center of St. Petersburg:

So far I can't answer this question. The first week of August will be quite hot. What will happen next is not yet clear, there are no such calculations yet.

The forecaster believes that it should get colder by the middle of the month. But the situation may change.

What summer is typical for Petersburg?

Kolesov says the hottest July ever recorded was 2010. And only for the last three years, July was cool: in 2015 - a negative anomaly, in 2016 - a lot of rain, although the temperature was close to normal, and in 2017 - again cool weather with a negative anomaly.

Alexander Kolesov, chief forecaster of the Hydrometeorological Center of St. Petersburg:

Over the past three years, we have had a jump in temperature. But the heat began from the second decade: the first decade turned out to be with a negative anomaly, it was cold for our city. Now this warm weather covers the cold that was at the beginning of the month. But the results need to be summed up when the month and summer end. Now the period of hot weather is short - only 10 days.

Kolesov explains that such contrasts are inherent in our northern region: cold air masses can quickly come with northern winds. But then the synoptic situation changes: southerly and southeasterly winds are established - and such heat comes, as in this July.

Does it get better in the heat if you sit under a fan, what symptoms should you pay attention to in such weather, and is it worth drinking coffee and cold alcoholic cocktails? how heat affects health and what to eat and drink to make you feel better.
