In the morning, as usual, it drizzled, and then it warmed up powerfully. It seems that because of this diversity, the water seemed even colder than it was. The sea here, when compared with, is slightly muddy, but you can swim if you close your eyes.

Svetik from Kaluga:

“Water in June is different in temperature, it doesn’t match by year. We were in Salou at the beginning of the month three years ago and swam every day. And this year they also rested in June - I decided to go into the sea only once, and even then knee-deep. After lunch it often rained, accompanied by sunshine. I had to buy raincoats - we took them with us when we left the hotel.

July Salou - cheerful, noisy, crowded. There are a lot of people on the beaches, in restaurants, on the promenade. After all, gorgeous weather reigns here, during the day you can fully swim and sunbathe (the water temperature is more than 24 degrees, and in the air above 30). And at night, no long-sleeve sweaters are needed - you can go for a walk or to a disco just in a T-shirt and shorts. And it will be warm! And maybe you even want to cool off in the cracker fountain on the promenade along the sea. And be sure to reach the light and music fountain!

My husband and I went to Salou in early June, as we managed to buy tickets at a good price. During our vacation, the air temperature was only 23-25°C during the day, and at night it dropped to 17-18°C, and the light jackets that we took with us turned out to be very useful. As for the sea, it was also cool - the water warmed up to the maximum only up to 19 ° C, and I did not dare to swim. I advise you to choose the beginning of June in Salou rather for sightseeing holidays, and for a beach holiday, the middle of the month or the end is more suitable. But in general, I was satisfied with my vacation - we received our portion of sea air. And given that out of 10 days of our stay at the resort, the weather was sunny almost all the time, I managed to grab a good tan.

Traditionally, we try to celebrate my birthday in early June abroad. I managed to buy a last-minute tour to Spain. The weather was changeable, sometimes heavy rains happened, and the sun was hot. The sea was slightly stormy, but it did not interfere with swimming, although, of course, the water in June on the Costa Dorada is still cool. Pluses of rains - in the air the aroma from coniferous trees, which are many in Salou. Now we want to get to this place at the height of summer, when the probability of rain is minimal and the water warms up enough.

We visited the Spanish resort of Salou in October 2016. We prefer to rest in the southern sea places in our favorite the Velvet season: gentle (not sizzling) sun, comfortable temperature of water and air!

All twelve days of rest the weather was very, very even. I especially remember that there were no temperature jumps and shocks during the day. Of course, the mild weather is more than favorable for excursions, so we easily traveled all over the picturesque coast of the Costa Dorada.

It rained on the penultimate day. By the way, swimming and splashing in the sea under a rainbow and southern rain is an indescribable feeling. mediterranean climate special - delivers complete delight even in rainy weather!

Absolutely, our family will return to these places again - and absolutely definitely in the same season!

We went with the whole family in September 2014 to Salou, Spain. The weather was very hot. The only thing that saved us was the sea. We tried to go sunbathing or get out into the city in the morning and after 3 pm. In the evening the weather is wonderful, just right for walking around the city. It's not hot, we went in T-shirts, sometimes in light capes.

We rested in Salou in early July, the weather was excellent, sunny every day and not a drop of rain, it's time to swim and sunbathe on the sandy Mediterranean coast under the sparkling sun and walk around the unforgettable places of the Salou resort. The air temperature during the day is 28-29 degrees, and the water temperature in the sea is 24-25 degrees, at night the temperature drops to 20 degrees, which is very comfortable for sleeping after a hot day.

Rested with my husband in the town of Salou, Costa Dorada. Chose this place on the advice of a friend. We were at the height of the season, in July, but did not regret it at all. We did not feel the exhausting heat, because, firstly, the hotel was on the first line (and this is a cool breeze in the morning and evening), and, secondly, air conditioners are everywhere. Of the 10 days of vacation, there was not a single cloudy one, so we got tanned and bought ourselves from the heart! The sea is amazing! Clean, warm and without excitement. Yes, and a beach with golden sand, which sparkled in the water like sparkles))) The water temperature was about 25-27 degrees, very comfortable, I didn’t even want to go out. We walked around the city even at lunchtime, because ALL cafes, restaurants, shops and even small shops have an air conditioning system. Summing up, I say: "Do not be afraid of the heat in Spain, it's worth it!" Relax with pleasure!

Were in Salou in June 2013 and June 2014 (in the first half of June). In 2013 there was a very cold spring and at the beginning of June it was cold (air 20-23, sea 17-19 degrees). I had to spend time on excursions mostly. But closer to June 10, it became sharply warmer, people poured onto the beaches, the air warmed up to 25-28, the sea to 20-22 degrees. But as they say, that year was abnormally cold. In June 2014, they swam from the first day (June 4), the air was 24-28, the water was 21-22. In general, you can swim in early June, but you don’t have to swim year after year, but from mid-June they always swim. I was in Salou before in July and August, the sea is definitely warmer at this time, but it gets hot, people on the beach, like in Sochi, and hotels are 1.5-2 times more expensive. Who does not like the heat, June is quite a comfortable month to relax, especially if you are planning an excursion.

I have a rest in Spain, more precisely in Catalonia, quite often and for quite a long time. For the second year in a row I spend the June holidays there. Pretty much at this time low prices, and the bonus is getting a long-term visa. Thanks to which you can then fly on "burning" or buy cheap tickets to any Schengen country.

On the Costa Dorada, where the city of Salou is located, I was the first time, although I have been going to Catalonia for more than 10 years.

The official start of summer in Catalonia is celebrated and celebrated on June 23rd. But the water warms up to “warm” closer to the beginning of August.

In June, the water is still quite cool. Before June 10, swimming is problematic - the water is about 18 degrees or lower. By June 12-15, the water warms up to 19-21 degrees. After dinner, it is already pleasant to the body invigorating. It is cool in the morning, it is better to just sunbathe and wet your feet near the shore. And after June 17, the air temperature begins to rise sharply, the water becomes already acceptable for swimming - 21 or even 23 degrees.

I note that in the resorts of Brava and Maresme the water is colder. The coasts are open to all winds, due to which, if the water is suitable for swimming in temperature, the waves will be such that you cannot enter the water.

In Salou, there is a gentle shore, due to which the water warms up faster, fine sand, pleasant waves, and a wide beach strip. The numbers after June 15 at the weekend crowds of Barcelona people flood the beaches, so there is nowhere for the apple to fall. Although the locals are already actively swimming after June 10th. The air temperature is very comfortable - moderately hot, the sun is not very active.

Spain has always attracted me, but I managed to visit this colorful country only in 2017. After reading a lot of reviews, I chose the town of Salou, where I spent seven wonderful days. My story will be useful to future tourists planning to go to a Spanish resort.

Salou in June - warm and sunny

June opens the swimming season, so a lot of vacationers begin to come. The weather is excellent - 27-28 ° C during the day. The sun shines from the very morning, allowing you to get a beautiful sea tan. Mediterranean Sea - 20 degrees. You can swim, but it's hard to get into the water. It is better to pre-warm up well under the warm sun. Most often I wore T-shirts and shorts, but in the evenings I preferred a sweater with long sleeves, because it was getting cool - 17-19°C. I liked that it did not catch the rain and strong wind. Light breezes were at night while walking along the coast. The rest of the time there was complete calm.

Entertainment in Salou in the first month of summer

In June, it's time to go to the water park. Good opportunity have fun cooling off in the pool and on the water slides. If extreme sports are not enough for you, then visit the Port Aventura park to ride the rides to your heart's content. Just remember that the sun is very hot, so put on a hat and drink more water. I recommend to be smeared sunscreen those who are the owner of too light and sensitive skin. There is practically no shade in the park. Obviously not without protection.

Fruits in June

At the beginning of summer, seasonal fruits and berries ripen. My hotel had a meager selection of vitamin products. I had to go to the market and stock up on the full program. I was buying:

  • strawberries;
  • peaches;
  • nectarines;
  • raspberries;
  • cherry.

There was always a watermelon on the buffet, which I did not like at all. It's not sweet at all, and there are a lot of seeds.
