Whether you're working on research or using your workspace to finish work at home, it needs to be designed with the rules of office design in mind. The ideal workspace is functional and comfortable. In addition to creating a business environment, it should be beautiful, match the capabilities and taste of the owner, and be modern. Consider 20 options for organizing a workplace in a modern style at home.

Neat, clean, up to sterility

Despite the apparent simplicity of decoration, the interior has pronounced characteristics of the Scandinavian style with a harmonious combination of elements, using natural materials. The snow-white color of the walls and furniture, the bright yellow details of the shelves, the ethnic pattern of the facades, the naturalness of the ceiling and floor complement and balance each other. The stylish solution allowed us to abandon the abundance of furniture and accessories, creating a minimalist design that has everything you need for fruitful work.

Gray uneven concrete, ceilings, wall-to-wall cabinets, factory clocks, chrome-plated pipes, a stainless steel table lamp, an office chest of drawers with small drawers, all these are characteristic features of the popular style. In such an office, work is done faster, important decisions are made, because nothing distracts attention from the labor process.

Nothing personal, just work

This design is usually used in open offices with a large number of workplaces, but it is also suitable for home - only a working atmosphere, everything you need is around and nothing superfluous that distracts attention. For fruitful work, there is everything you need - an ergonomic chair, a roomy cabinet, modern gadgets and a fairly spacious desk space.

Big office in the house? Nothing complicated

Those who prefer to have a spacious workplace at home can take as a basis a stylish black and white office with a roomy and decorative bookcase against a striped wall. The writing desk is equipped with an expensive glossy table top, has the size of a soft sofa with comfortable armrests. To give a stylish chic to a too neat interior, accent spots of golden color are used in the form of expensive accessories, a floor vase, a futuristic chair.

Bedroom and workplace - things are quite compatible

Correctly embodied in the design, the modern idea of a workplace at home allows you to combine a chic office with a comfortable bedroom. The contrasting color concept of the interior includes combinations of white and black, the clear lines of which are diluted with details of shades of beige and dark chocolate. The absence of unnecessary items does not distract from work, and the presence of warm colors creates comfort, makes it possible to fully restore strength after a busy day at work.

Loft style is a good choice for a studio apartment

A huge space with high ceilings is perfect for finishing in the popular loft direction. Work or study - it should still be comfortable

The youth room must have a comfortable workplace. Fresh and cheerful design allows you to combine in a single solution big window, bed, open shelves with drawers and a desk. All elements are interconnected by form, color, are a continuation of each other. The result is a light, cute interior that makes efficient use of every inch of a small space.

Favorite loft even in a small room

Despite the fact that the loft-style interior requires spacious apartments, its individual elements can also be used in compact spaces. The proposed modern idea for a workspace at home includes an unplastered concrete ceiling, furniture with simple shapes, metal production handles for attaching shelves, a chandelier with abstract lines. However, the simplicity and coarse details of interior items do not prevent the owners from having the necessary level of comfort thanks to a comfortable sofa, expensive appliances, and elite accessories.

Everything you need at your fingertips

A no-frills room offers its owner a functional space for fruitful work. Corner table with a spacious cabinet unusual shape forms an ergonomic workplace, and open shelves on the wall and in the closet will accommodate a huge amount of information and educational literature. The spectacular Jielde table lamp is an iconic accessory and has continued to be relevant since its introduction in 1950.

Industrial style office

The cool black and white industrial interior is softened by gray concrete areas on the walls and floor. In a harmonious color combination, author's frame products with wood texture are made - a desk top, a table with a pedestal, drawer fronts. The theme of ancient aviation is used in the design - in the photo, in the form of a designer chair, the lines of a table lamp. Chrome-plated metal parts emphasize the chosen industrial direction.

Stylish interior is formed by details

In a home studio, one cannot do without professional equipment, a translucent screen that lets through required amount Sveta. But the central place in the interior rightfully belongs to the desktop. A little more and it would have seemed bulky, but the designer was able to capture the right edge in the combination of the contrasting smooth surface of the tabletop and the rough scissor-shaped legs. The warm texture of the wooden elements neutralizes the coldness of the concrete walls and ceiling.

Simply chic minimalism

Emphatically minimalist design characterizes the workplace of the house, in which the impeccable finish of a few elements testifies to the taste and wealth of the owner. The attention is drawn to the white floor with the texture of high quality natural wood, as well as another wonderful author's Jielde lamp, now in the floor version. Not only does it brighten up the office, but it's always on hand to light up any task, whether it's working on a project before dawn or browsing a magazine in the evening.

Small area? Let's style it anyway!

Using professional ideas, even a small workplace in the corner of the dining area can be decorated chic. The document shelf allows you to neatly store all sets of documents, but at the same time does not take up space, as it is located in a niche. The work area seems cozy and inconspicuous thanks to the used color scheme- a combination of white with delicate shades of marble and concrete. The original chair made of transparent acrylic performs its functions without cluttering up the compact space.

Tonic ideas for a boring office

Even a featureless office space designed for fruitful work is not difficult to "revive". In a strict minimalist office, you can also relax and cheer yourself up. There are several useful ideas for this - place a flowerpot with pleasant greenery on the table houseplant, and on the wall - a photo of a loved one.

Bedroom and workspace? Completely compatible!

Not everyone has the opportunity to allocate a separate room for work or privacy. If the overloaded living room no longer accommodates a work desk, it is quite possible to place it in the bedroom. The mirror facade of the cabinet will visually double the length of the room, spacious shelves will hide behind sliding doors to match the color of the walls, and the neat surface of the countertop will not take up much space.

Non-traditional interior for extraordinary personalities

To meet the needs of creative individuals, non-standard solutions are required. At the heart of the design idea of a modern studio is an unusual desktop arrangement. Instead of being placed next to a wall, it sits in the middle of the room. This allows you to observe the changing environment in search of inspiration, instead of constantly studying the section of the wall in front of you.

Black and white interiors can be boring

By choosing a black and white design for your workspace, you can make it joyful and energetic. For this, an unusual chair with geometric lines is suitable, forming a beautiful tandem with a striped carpet. bright photo in a large frame, an exclusive wall lamp will pleasantly dilute a strict interior, bring in a piece of warmth, fill it with positive emotions after a long work.

Introduction.
In today's developing world of technology, time is highly valued. A rationally organized workplace allows you to reduce time costs, also ensures the correct construction of the labor process, eliminates unnecessary and uncomfortable movements, improves the use of equipment, improves the quality of work performed, and ensures the safety of equipment.
The workplace is a part of the production area assigned to an individual worker or a group of workers, equipped with the necessary technological, auxiliary, handling equipment, technological and organizational equipment designed to perform a certain part of the production process.
Each workplace has its own specific features associated with the peculiarities of the organization of the production process, the variety of forms of specific labor. The state of workplaces, their organization directly determine the level of labor organization at the enterprise. In addition, the organization of the workplace directly forms the environment in which the employee is constantly at work, which affects his well-being, mood, performance and, ultimately, labor productivity.
The workplace is the primary link in the production and technological structure of the enterprise, in which the production process, its maintenance and management are carried out. It is here that the three main elements of this process are combined and its main goal is achieved - the production of objects of labor, the provision of services or the technical and economic support and management of these processes. The efficiency of the use of labor itself, tools and means of production and, accordingly, labor productivity, the cost of production, its quality and many other economic indicators of the enterprise's functioning largely depend on how jobs are organized.
The workplace consists of the following elements:
production area;
main equipment;
devices for storing materials, blanks, finished products, waste and rejects;
devices for storing tools, equipment and fixtures;
lifting and transport devices;
devices for safety and convenience.
The purpose of the course project is to study the identification of shortcomings and issues of improving jobs.

1. Evaluation of the organization of the workplace at the IP "Vakulenko"

1.1. The concept and classification of the workplace.
The workplace is understood as an area equipped with the necessary technical means in which the labor activity of the performer or a group of performers jointly performing one job or operation is carried out.
At the workplace, the main goal of work is achieved- high-quality, economical and timely production of products or the performance of a specified amount of work.
To achieve this goal, technical, organizational, economic and ergonomic requirements are imposed on the workplace.
On the technical side, the workplace must be equipped with advanced equipment, the necessary technological and organizational equipment, tools, instrumentation, provided by the technology, lifting and transport vehicles.
On the organizational side, the equipment available at the workplace should be rationally located within the working area; a variant of the optimal maintenance of the workplace with raw materials, materials, blanks, parts, tools, repair of equipment and tooling, waste disposal was found; safe and health-friendly working conditions are provided.
On the economic side, the organization of the workplace should ensure optimal employment of workers, the highest possible level of labor productivity and quality of work.
Ergonomic requirements take place in the design of equipment, technological and organizational equipment, the layout of the workplace.
The work process of an employee, regardless of what functions he performs, is characterized by inherent laws that determine:
- placement of the employee in the working area;
- position of the working area;
- the sequence, quantity and spatial extent of the labor movements that make up the labor process;
- the sequence of entry of a person into work;
- the appearance, build-up and reduction of fatigue.
Ergonomics explores the impact exerted on the functional state and performance of a person by various factors of the production environment. The latter are taken into account when designing equipment, organizational and technological equipment, when justifying the layout of workplaces. Proper planning should provide for such placement of the employee in the area of the workplace and such an arrangement in it of objects used in the process of work that would ensure the most comfortable working position; the shortest and most convenient traffic zones; the least tiring positions of the body, arms, legs and head with prolonged repetition of certain movements.
Thus, the tasks of organizing labor in the field of organizing jobs are aimed at achieving a rational combination of material elements of the production process and a person, ensuring high productivity and favorable working conditions on this basis.
Depending on the type of production, features of the technological process, the nature of labor functions, forms of labor organization and other factors, the classification of jobs is determined.
Jobs are of the following types:
- Depending on the functions performed by the employee, there may be jobs for managers, specialists, employees, workers, junior service personnel, security, etc.
- Jobs are also subdivided on a professional basis, i.e. depending on the profession of the employee who works at this place. For example, there may be jobs for an accountant, a labor economist, a general practitioner, a clerk, a carpenter, a machinist, etc.
- According to the type of production, jobs of the main and auxiliary industries are distinguished.
- According to the type of production, there can be jobs for mass, serial and single production.
- According to the degree of specialization, jobs are divided into specialized and universal.
- According to the level of mechanization, jobs for manual, manual mechanized, machine-manual work, as well as machine, semi-automated, automated and instrumental jobs are distinguished.
- According to the number of main technological equipment, workplaces can be without equipment, single-station (single-unit, single-machine) and multi-station (multi-unit, multi-machine).
- By location, workplaces are distinguished indoors, outdoors, at height, underground.
- By the number of performers - individual and collective.
- By the number of shifts - one-, two-, three-, four-shift.
- According to the degree of mobility - stationary and mobile. Stationary - this is a fixed, strictly fixed workplace on the territory. A mobile (mobile) workplace is one in which the employee, together with the means of labor, moves relative to the object of labor or the front of work (for example, the workplace of a builder moving as the front of work moves or the workplace of an electrician on duty performing work in places of malfunctions in the operation of electrical equipment ).
- According to the working position - sitting, standing, variable - sitting-standing.
- According to working conditions - with normal conditions, with heavy physical labor, with harmful conditions, with especially difficult physical labor, with especially harmful conditions, with high neuropsychic tension, with monotonous labor.
- By time of use - permanent and temporary, including seasonal.
- By the nature of use - functioning, non-functioning, including: vacant, reserve, redundant.

    1.2. Brief description of the enterprise IP "Vakulenko".
IP Vakulenko S.I. was established in 2001 as an atelier for repair and tailoring.
Today IP Vakulenko is a small enterprise specializing in the production of women's, office clothing. The number of employees at the enterprise is 40 people. The company has two stores for the sale of goods. The main task of IP Vakulenko is to provide the residents of the city with good, high-quality, beautiful, competitive clothing.

Mission and purpose of the organization
The mission of this organization, PE Vakulenko S.I., is to promote its brand on the market, to produce high-quality, competitive and individual office clothes for women.
The primary purpose of an organization is to make a profit. But there are other goals that are generated and pursued in the course of the organization's activities.
Other purposes:
1. Ensuring maximum profitability with currently available equipment.
2. Increasing sales through advertising and introducing new models.
3. Introduction of new technologies for fast and high-quality manufacturing of the product.

1.3. Workplace of a fashion designer.
In this paper, we will consider the workplace of a fashion designer at the IP "Vakulenko".
The name of the profession according to the officially adopted nomenclature is Fashion designer (in the Russian tradition) - a specialist in the manufacture of clothing models, the creator of experimental samples, who determines the image and style, the general design solution, inventing new technological solutions and developing decor, choosing colors and materials, thinking through accessories and additions .
The duties of a fashion designer include the creation of a new concept of clothing in the form of sketches, the search for a design solution for a conceived model, the development of samples of new models, the preparation of samples for industrial production, and the organization of fashion shows.
Requirements for the profession: knowledge of the history of costume, technologies and principles of work of leading companies, the current state of world fashion. It is also necessary in the work to be able to feel and understand your contemporaries, take into account their needs, preferences, national characteristics, age, and financial situation. To work as a fashion designer, you need good training in human anatomy, aesthetics, skills in graphics and painting, and technical knowledge in the relevant field. A representative of this profession must know the methodology for designing products, modeling, preparing sewing samples for mass production,
basic properties of materials, production technology and equipment.
The workplace of a fashion designer should be comfortable and maximally illuminated and should correspond to the anthropometric data of a person, provide a comfortable position for the worker's body, create conditions for less fatigue, good visual perception, freedom of movement, etc. All necessary tools have your place. Tools taken with the right hand should lie on the right, left on the left.
The workplace at the enterprise is equipped with a cutting table. The table is wooden, wide, stable, the height of the table allows you to cut while standing, inside the table has shelves for storing fabric and the necessary tools for cutting. The table stands 3 meters from the wall, which allows you to move around the table when cutting. There is also a Pfaff sewing machine, which can sew all types of fabrics and a Genom iron, which heats up quickly and with an additional steam generator, the ironing board is stable and adjustable in height. Let's pay attention to the chair for working at the typewriter, since working at the typewriter requires perseverance and concentration, the chair should be as comfortable as possible and not restrict movement. Mannequin, small in size, which, if necessary, can be knocked out to the desired size. There is also a table for working with sketches, high, at an angle of 45 degrees, on the table there are special recesses for pencils, brushes and other necessary tools, the table is also equipped with additional lighting. Chair with height adjustment, footrest and comfortable backrest. The chair can rotate on its axis, which is very convenient. There is also a table for making patterns, high, wooden, smooth. The table is equipped with shelves inside for convenient storage of patterns and tools. (See Appendix, Figure 1)
The work of a fashion designer requires good lighting. When working with sketches and patterns at the workplace, combined lighting is used, i.e. combination of general and local lighting. This type of lighting is used in the dark, and in the daytime - natural, it is most favorable for the worker.

1.4. Evaluation of the workplace of a fashion designer.
The assessment of the fashion designer's workplace at the IE "Vakulenko" can be given a satisfactory assessment. Here are some of the shortcomings that were identified during the assessment of the workplace equipment (see Appendix, Fig. 1):
- direct arrangement of furniture. Furniture is located at a considerable distance or stands too close. The working space is not used correctly;
- some tables are poorly equipped with shelves, which leads to wasted time looking for the right tool or pattern;
-cars are far from each other, because of which you constantly have to move and lose time;
- there is also no cabinet for ready-made samples;
Otherwise, nothing distracts the work of the fashion designer. In the design of the workplace of the fashion designer, some shortcomings were made regarding the furniture itself and its placement, while the rest of the conditions correspond to the norms.

2. Improving the workplace of a fashion designer at the IP "Vakulenko"

2.1. Measures to improve the workplace.
In this chapter, we will consider the rationale for the proposed activities needed to rational use employee potential.
A comfortable workplace and the right equipment are essential for successful work.
Improving the organization and maintenance of workplaces includes the layout of workplaces, the introduction of the most rational equipment and industrial furniture that meets ergonomic requirements; introduction of the most effective systems for servicing workplaces, ensuring the elimination of losses in working time.
Improving the layout of the workplace should be aimed at eliminating unnecessary and irrational labor movements, minimizing the movement of the worker relative to the material elements of the labor process, and, consequently, increasing labor efficiency and reducing worker fatigue.
As noted earlier, the assessment of the workplace is satisfactory, which is directly related to the arrangement of furniture. Before proceeding to eliminate the disadvantages in the organization of the workplace, it is necessary to take into account the opinion of the employee and the opinion of the employer.
A comfortable workplace and the right equipment are absolutely essential for successful work.
When creating a workplace, you need to take into account the requirements and recommendations, the observance of which will help in successful work. Lighting is the most important requirement. The best option when working at a sewing machine would be if the light falls from the left side. In the dark, of course, artificial lighting is simply indispensable. However, it is recommended to use fluorescent lamps for illumination. By the way, it will be said that the distance from the eyes to the product should be at least 30-40 cm.
Sewing can create unmanageable clutter in the workplace if you don't have a designated area for your sewing tools and equipment. The workplace needs to be well planned. Sewing equipment must be arranged in a certain order with good access, tools and related items must have their places and, if necessary, be at hand. All this is the basis of productive and pleasant sewing.
The workplace should have equipment for sewing and ironing products, as well as a table for cutting. Ideally, these three groups of equipment should be placed in a "U" shape so that everything is at hand. This greatly improves productivity. On one side, place an ironing board with special equipment, a cutting table on the opposite side, and put a sewing machine between them. A prerequisite is a table for working at a typewriter. Its size should be large enough: 120*80cm. On the table, along with a sewing machine, there is an overlocker. Sitting on a swivel chair on wheels, you can easily reach all the necessary items without getting up from your seat.
For storing sewing accessories, as an option, a rack is suitable. The shelves themselves will contain all possible sewing magazines, boxes of threads, etc. If you place all the accessories of the sewing business on these shelves, then you will have a unique opportunity to have everything at hand, not waste time looking for the little things necessary for sewing, and immediately get to work. The rack is best placed between the sewing area and the sketching area. It will be convenient if the rack is equipped with shelves on both sides. From the side of the sewing zone there will be sewing accessories, on the other side there will be magazines, ready-made sketches and other accessories.
The cutting table must be equipped with an additional shelf at the edge to place a roll of fabric in it. This will make it easier to unfold the fabric and the fabric will not drag across the floor.
The table for patterns must be equipped with a board, this will allow you to fix the necessary sketches so that they are in front of your eyes. All this will ensure the loss of time searching for the desired sketch. You also need a closet for finished products for careful storage and quick access to the necessary things. (see appendix, figure 2)
Introducing all the innovations in the arrangement of furniture, and supplementing with new and necessary furniture, we ensure that the work is done quickly, efficiently and without loss of time.
An important stage in the development and implementation of a system for organizing workplace services is the determination of its economic efficiency.
When determining the economic feasibility of an event, it is necessary to take into account the time it takes to pay back the costs of its implementation. An event is considered cost-effective if the payback period for one-time costs is not higher than the standard one.

2.2. Certification of the workplace.
Certification of workplaces is also one of the activities that improve the work of workers and staff. It was revealed that at the enterprise certification of workplaces is not regularly carried out, and in some shops it is not carried out at all.
Certification of workplaces provides a set of measures that include a comprehensive assessment of each workplace for its compliance with modern technical, technological, organizational, economic and social requirements. In the course of certification, technical - technological, organizational - economic levels at the workplace are determined. On this basis, a comprehensive assessment of jobs is carried out, taking into account the best domestic and foreign experience, as well as targeted work to rationalize them.
The rationalization of jobs is a set of organizational and technical measures developed on the basis of certification and aimed at improving existing jobs and improving their use.
The main goals of accounting, certification and rationalization of jobs are to increase production efficiency, product quality and rational use of fixed assets and labor resources at enterprises through:
- accelerating the growth of labor productivity on the basis of bringing jobs in accordance with the requirements of scientific and technological progress;
-reducing the use of manual and heavy physical labor, increasing the content and attractiveness of labor;
- improving the use of fixed assets by eliminating redundant and inefficient jobs, ensuring a balance in the number of jobs and employees and increasing the shift ratio of jobs;
-improvement of working conditions and safety precautions at each workplace, improvement of production culture.
When attesting workplaces in terms of working conditions, harmful and dangerous factors in production are assessed and measures are determined to eliminate them as much as possible. Article 212 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation states that the employer is obliged at his own expense to provide attestation of workplaces with subsequent certification of the organization of work on labor protection. It turns out that both events are mandatory under the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
All workplaces are subject to certification, each of them - at least once every 5 years. A new workplace must be certified after its commissioning. When replacing equipment, process technology, collective protection equipment, etc. recertification takes place. It is recommended to keep certification documents for 45 years.
How does the certification of workplaces for working conditions end?
Based on the results of certification of workplaces in terms of working conditions, he develops an action plan to improve and improve working conditions in the organization, which includes, among other things, measures that require significant material costs. The plan of measures to improve and improve working conditions in the organization indicates the sources of financing of measures, the timing of their implementation, performers and eliminated harmful and (or) dangerous production factors for specific jobs. The action plan for improving and improving working conditions in the organization is signed by the chairman of the attestation commission and, after agreement with the labor protection committee (commission), trade union or other authorized representative body of employees, is approved by the employer and included in the collective agreement, then the employer sends: a list of jobs, statements workplaces of the organization's divisions and the results of their certification in terms of working conditions and a summary sheet of workplaces of the organization and the results of their certification in terms of conditions. All this is sent to the state labor inspectorate in the constituent entity of the Russian Federation (the territorial body of the Federal Service for Labor and Employment for state supervision and control over compliance with labor laws and other regulatory legal acts containing labor law norms).
When certifying a new workplace at IE "Vakulenko", no harmful or difficult working conditions were identified. All attestation measures and further attestation reports were carried out in accordance with the law on attestation of the worker meta and at the expense of the director of the enterprise.

Workplace organization

One of the main tasks of increasing labor productivity and the aesthetic level of industrial premises is the proper artistic and design solution for the elements of the workplace. This has a decisive influence on working conditions and the results of human production activities. All elements of the workplace must meet the necessary parameters, comply with the structure of the human body and sanitary and hygienic requirements, and have high aesthetic qualities.

not only our mood, but also the working process itself depends on how well we manage to organize our workplace. In this case, the ancient Chinese science of Feng Shui comes to our aid.

One of the most important elements that you should first of all pay attention to when designing a workplace is its color scheme. According to feng shui every color is an expression a certain kind energy. Color not only affects our mood, but also affects our health (this is studied by color therapy).

From this point of view, the white-black-gray offices that are fashionable today are completely inharmonious, since they contain only three colors, or rather, there are no colors. Gray is a variation of black, which in turn is not a color at all. We see black when the surface does not reflect anything, but only absorbs light.

White, as you know, is a neutral color, and therefore does not carry any energy. It adversely affects the state of the body and the variety of too bright tones. The motley color scheme attracts attention only at the first moment, but being in such an environment for a long time is quite tiring.

When designing a workplace, try to adhere to the principle of the "golden" mean in the literal sense. Golden tones - light orange, yellow, beige, coffee with milk, as well as warm red, the soothing color of young greenery, gentle marsh will create a feeling of security and joy. Well, you have decided on the color, now you need to choose a direction that is favorable for you.

You belong to the eastern group if the remainder is 1, 3, 4, 9 or there is no remainder - your lucky directions will be southeast, south, north, east. You belong to the western group if the remainder is 2, 5, 6, 7 or 8 - your lucky directions will be northeast, northwest, west and southwest.

It is believed that if you sit in a favorable direction for yourself, then you are guaranteed good luck in all your endeavors. Whatever workplace you occupy, in a separate office or in a common room, you must first determine whether you are being attacked by negative energy from outside. If “arrows” of negative energy are directed at the window from the roof of a neighboring house, put a plant on the window or hang blinds. Never sit under ceiling beams, bookshelves, or air conditioners.

Any overhanging structure can become a source of failure and disease. Remove all telephone wires, computer cables behind panels and racks. According to Feng Shui, all visible pipes and wires mean an outflow of money. You can not place your workplace, even if it is oriented in a favorable direction, opposite the door (especially if it opens into the room). In this case, you are attacked by a strong flow of energy, which can be bad for your health. No need to sit with your back to the door, this is a very uncomfortable and disturbing position.

It's called a "knife in the back". It is believed that with such an arrangement, you can be betrayed, set up, bypassed during promotion. If there is no other possibility, you need to put a mirror on the table so that you can see everyone entering the door.

No need to sit with your back to the window, you thereby deprive yourself of the support of influential people, your own employees, and all your even the most brilliant projects will be doomed to failure. It is better if there is a wall behind your back. If this is not possible, close the window with thick curtains. You need to sit facing the door, but not opposite it, but diagonally from the entrance.

Your desktop should be clearly visible from the front door, it should not be blocked by safes, cabinets, massive chairs. It is believed that if you are not visible from the front door, then luck can bypass you. It is very important to create a favorable atmosphere in the workplace. A well-equipped workplace is the key to health, emotional and spiritual balance. Don't cram your desk into the corner of a room, much less between cabinets.

Any physical inconvenience will affect the quality of work. You must freely approach your desktop; there should be free space in front of and behind the table, which, according to Feng Shui, symbolizes opportunities and perspective. Otherwise, difficulties await you.

If you are working in a booth or there is a partition directly in front of you, hang a picture of a lake, a flowering valley, that is, visually expand the perspective in front of you. If a large number of people work in the premises or a large number of visitors come to you, you may get tired of the hustle and bustle. Put some bright or favorite subject on your desktop. It can be a beautiful table lamp (not necessarily a purely working design), a photograph of children, a model of your favorite car. Find any way to protect your personal space.

The most unfavorable workplace is the seat at the door. And no matter what position this employee occupies, the attitude of strangers towards him is always less respectful than towards colleagues at the back of the room. He is always more tired of the bustle, as they constantly walk past him and distract him with information questions. If you can't move your workspace from the aisle, also put a bright or large object on the table that will make your place more visible and meaningful.

If the desktop is located next to a large window, you may unwittingly feel in danger (especially if the office is located on the upper floors of the building). Here you also need to protect yourself by placing a large object near the window, for example, a plant in a tub, floor shelves with books. A large object will protect you, emotionally and physically moving away from danger.

If you work in a room where there are a lot of shelves and cabinets with working documentation or reference books, review these deposits and throw out the obsolete and unnecessary, rarely used, put in the back room. Cluttered and clogged cabinets, racks, shelves mean an inability to perceive the new and limit your professional growth. Successful lighting is a great way to attract positive energy.

It is good when there is additional lighting in the form of a table lamp on the desktop. The light source should be directly above your head or on the side of your non-working hand. If the light bulb shines on the working hand, then it will cast a shadow on the surface of the table. If you are working on a computer, the light should be directed directly at the keyboard. Bright sunlight can interfere with work, so you need to use blinds or curtains, but you should not completely switch to artificial lighting.

If you have to work in a windowless room, be sure to hang a photograph or reproduction of a natural landscape on the wall, or use any other element of nature (a small aquarium, a vase of flowers, place a plant on the corner of a table). According to Feng Shui, it is good to place your desktop “behind the back of the boss”, but by no means facing him. It does not matter that the boss's office is in another room or even on another floor. The position “behind the back” means his support, “facing the boss” means confrontation. If you put a table lamp or a metal object on the far left side of the table, financial success is attracted.

If you put your photo with a speech at some prestigious conference in front of you, you will activate your luck in your career. The zone on the far right side of your table is responsible for intimate and family relationships, and if there are problems in this area, put an image of a paired figure there. No matter how you equip offices, offices, common rooms, separate booths, it is important to avoid confusion and clutter.

On the territory of the office and in front of it there should be no dirty areas, landfills, withered trees and carelessly trimmed shrubs, peeling walls and creaking doors, clogged pipes, poorly cleaned halls and lobbies. There can be no good Feng Shui in the room if the air in the room is stale, there are clouds of tobacco smoke, dirty curtains and glass, furniture is disorderly set, and business papers are piled up.

You can not allow disorder on the desktop, always keep your workplace clean and tidy. Where there is disorder, there is no circulation of positive Qi energy, and therefore there will be no luck and health.

The layout of workplaces should ensure a comfortable posture during work and the performance of economical, simple, smooth, rhythmic movements. The comfort of sitting during work is ensured by the rational design of the furniture with a back support device. This design gives unloading to the dorsal muscles, providing an even distribution of body weight on the seat surface with comfortable placement of the legs.

An uncomfortable working position causes physical fatigue, deforms the body and reduces performance. Therefore, for the convenience of work in the workshop, administrative, household, communal and other institutions, workplaces and their equipment must strictly comply with ergonomic requirements.

When choosing the size of the workplace in automated control systems, the specifics of the operator's work are taken into account. The dimensions of the workplace are determined by the anthropometric and physiological data of the worker, the remoteness of the monitored object and the angle of view. The workplace in the control system allows the choice of the position "sitting" or "standing". In the "sitting" position, stationary workstations with height-adjustable seating are economical and comfortable.

"The table and chair create comfort." Maximum comfort and minimum fatigue can be achieved when the table and chair for the employee are properly sized. The normal height of the working surface of the table during the work of an employee, depending on his height, is 70-75 cm, respectively, the height of the chair is in the range from 40 to 45 cm. Given the different heights of employees, it is best to use office chairs with rising seats.

"Clean table". The desktop should contain only those items and tools that are often and constantly used to solve management problems. At the end of the working day, the desk must be absolutely clean in the interests of maintaining official secrecy. The table of a leader or specialist, littered with documents, books and newspapers, speaks of a sloppy and unbusinesslike person.

"Each thing has its place." All documents (folders, papers) must be arranged in such a way that they have a permanent place and can be easily found. Folders with permanent documents must be included in the nomenclature of office work of the enterprise (subdivision), stored in a certain closet with free access for employees. Folders that are often used during the working day are located within the employee's work area (one or two steps). At the end of the working day, documents must be placed in the appropriate folders. “What lies in order, runs into your hands,” says the proverb.

"Use an organizer." All technical tools for manual and mechanized work (pens, paper clips, pencils, erasers, folders, rulers, scissors, etc.) are best stored in a specially adapted place on a table or in a computer organizer. This saves a lot of time compared to traditional storage of tools in a drawer.

"It's clean where they don't litter." The office should be kept in perfect cleanliness and cleaned 2 times a day if there are many clients in the department, or once at the end of the working day. To maintain order, the administration should prohibit in the Internal Labor Regulations smoking in the office, eating food, drinking alcohol in the workplace and storing food. Otherwise, mice, cockroaches, flies, dirt and a decrease in employee productivity by 15-20% are waiting for you.

"Let there be light!" Proper illumination of the premises is a factor in creating comfortable conditions, favorable climate and health of employees. Direct light without lampshades causes irritation to the eyes, low light leads to their rapid fatigue, the reflected light from the polished surfaces of the table and cabinets is annoying. It is best to arrange the tables so that normal daylight falls to the left of the desktop or directly on it. In the dark, properly selected lamps or table lamps help.

"Clean air is a healthy mind." Ventilation has importance to keep employees in good physical condition and reduce the risk of spreading infectious diseases. The best option is to equip each room with air conditioning or forced ventilation. In their absence, it is necessary to ventilate the room every 2 hours.

The composition of the air environment of a dwelling is determined by the chemical composition of the air, as well as the presence or absence of various gases, vapors, dust and microorganisms. A great influence on the composition of the air environment of the dwelling is exerted by: finishing the internal surfaces of the interior, functional equipment of the apartment, household discharges.

Especially strongly worsen the gas composition of the air in the premises of a dwelling, various synthetic materials and products that are prohibited for use inside dwellings (certain types of linoleums, particle boards, mastics, paints, etc.). When using these materials, toxic elements are formed in the air.

"The volume of music is inversely proportional to intelligence." Part of the employees, especially those whose work is monotonous, prefers to work to music, the other part does not like it. How to be? These issues must be agreed within the team and regulated. In any case, a loudly speaking radio or other source of music during the entire working time has a negative effect on the psyche of all employees.

Short description

One of the main tasks of increasing labor productivity and the aesthetic level of industrial premises is the proper artistic and design solution for the elements of the workplace. This has a decisive influence on working conditions and the results of human production activities. All elements of the workplace must meet the necessary parameters, comply with the structure of the human body and sanitary and hygienic requirements, and have high aesthetic qualities.

Many people confuse the workplace with processor performance and RAM capacity.

The workplace is first of all a computer, but we must not forget that a designer spends 8 to 12 hours in one place, which is almost half of his life.

Therefore, the workplace should designate the entire immediate surrounding space around the designer. In the first place, of course, should be the power of the computer. This affects the processing time of graphic data and, accordingly, the time for project development. If you have Photoshop loaded for half an hour, graphic files are processed at fax speed, and you only work in a 3D editor in your sleep, then you need to think about upgrading your iron assistant. Later, we will talk separately about the gentleman's set of designer software tools.

After the computer, I would recommend considering a monitor. Take it literally: the designer looks at the monitor almost continuously 8 hours a day, so you need to take pity on your eyes, health and equip your place with a good monitor. In our time, designers are no longer so dependent on the handset, there are already quite acceptable LCD monitors, but you should not indulge yourself with the most modern technologies - remember the capabilities of your users and try to be closer to the people.

Next comes the chair. Not a tablet, not a keyboard, not an ashtray and not an air conditioner, but an armchair. The convenience of the chair, its orthopedic properties determine how comfortable you will work, how healthy you will leave your workplace, how much less nerves and effort you will spend on the work process. Armrests, back support, back comfort - it's all very important when sitting.

After the chair, you should think about the table. The table should be roomy so that the monitor, keyboard, mouse, tablet, notepad and stand for pencils and pens can be freely placed on it. The height of the table should be adjustable or be comfortable for a particular person. Special attention I devote to what should be placed on the table, namely, stationery items. It is my deep conviction that an A4 notepad, a notepad for tasks, pens and sharpened pencils, an eraser, a pack of paper for notes or stickers and a bar of good chocolate, preferably with hazelnuts, should always be on the designer’s desk, they feed the brain - the main tool of the designer; ). Everything else - at the request and personal whims of the designer.

And finally, I note that having free direct access to the scanner and printer greatly simplifies the work of the designer. A site layout printed on paper helps to evaluate the design with a fresh look and notice those errors that were not visible on the screen.

The modern pace of life is sometimes difficult even for the most progressive and hardy of us, so offices and mini-offices within the walls of our own home are becoming a frequent occurrence. The workplace, equipped in an apartment or house, makes it possible to organize an acceptable schedule and not waste time on the road under the motto "home-work-home".

About how to create Better conditions for freelance activities at home or to organize an office in the city center, we will describe further, pointing out common mistakes in the design of the work area.

Errors and solutions

  • Wrong fit

First of all, when arranging an office or workplace at home, you should not place the table in such a way that the window remains behind the seated person, especially if it is alone in the room. Periodically, you will need to look at the view behind the glass to relieve eye strain and just get a little distracted.

Correctly:

It is better to install a full-fledged desk perpendicular to the window: this way you will be provided with a free view of the landscape outside the window, as well as watching the entrance to the room in order to feel comfortable.

1

  • Enhanced brightness

Quite often, an area near the window in the kitchen, living room or bedroom is allocated for a home office, placing the table close to the windowsill. We have nothing against such a decision, but if you work with a computer, you should not place its monitor parallel to the window. So, intense daylight and the brightness of the screen on, will inevitably lead to a feeling of heaviness and tension in the eyeball.

Correctly:

If it is not possible to select another, less lit area for the table with the monitor, simply turn the latter perpendicular to the window. This simple action will significantly reduce eye strain, in addition, you can cover curtains or blinds while working with a computer in the daytime.

2

  • Snow-white interior

It is undesirable to use white color in large quantities in the design of the office, because it will create the same effect as in the case of a monitor opposite the window. The intense light that surrounds you throughout the working day is tiring, in addition, white has the ability to reflexively reflect other colors and sunlight. That is, if, for example, the sun is shining outside the window, then it will be very difficult to work in a white office, and when it is raining outside, the space will seem cold and dull.

Correctly:

Use white, provided that the cabinet is made in a warm natural palette: woody, herbal, black and brown, terracotta and sand colors. So, snow-white accents will not harm, but will only create a more solemn and light atmosphere.

1

  • visual void

Boring walls, dull colors, simple geometric shapes is the scourge of most urban office spaces. In such conditions, it is quite difficult to work productively without falling into apathy and despondency.

Correctly:

Remote work today makes it possible to plan your schedule more flexibly and make adjustments to the established image of the average office. At home, it is possible to adapt the workplace to personal needs and habits, so you should not ignore such a privilege. For example, you can decorate the walls with paintings depicting landscapes in a natural range of shades (these will help your eyes relax during a break), black and white photographs (they do not distract from work and advantageously complement the interior). We also recommend using lamps and decor of an unusual shape and texture, pleasant to the touch.

  • Not an ergonomic chair

Poor perseverance can develop for quite a prosaic reason, for example, due to hard, deep, too low or high sitting.

Correctly:

The right piece of furniture for sitting at a desk is a chair with a back slightly tilted back. The feet of the seated person should freely touch the floor, the legs should be bent at an angle of 90 degrees, and the back should be leaning against the back.

Please note that the seller of the furniture store may not tell you this, but there are different types chairs: some will be comfortable for men, others are suitable for women, due to differences in the location of the centers of gravity

1

  • Lack of local lighting

A workplace or a table in a separate office cannot do without additional lighting, because quite often you have to work in the evening. So, the light from the monitor will obviously not be enough to see the characters on the keyboard, or write down the necessary information in a notebook.

Correctly:

Coming to work at dusk, or succumbing to a creative impulse at dawn, is a little easier if the home office is equipped with a table lamp or an architect's lamp.

  • No storage sections

It is difficult to maintain order in the workplace if the table is hidden under a pile of papers, and boxes with folders, stationery and other accessories are scattered under your feet. A significant disadvantage in the design of the workplace is the lack of space to accommodate the most necessary things in the work.

1

Correctly:

If you do not want to clutter up the space with cabinets, cabinets and other heavy furniture, you can attach several shelves along the wall above the table, on the sides of it, and even under the tabletop. This will help organize the work area, and just make it more tidy.

3

  • dilapidated furniture

When it comes to furnishing a home workplace, many people make the same mistake of using furniture that was used and borrowed from neighbors, bought at a flea market, or brought from the city office. It is good if these items are vintage, in excellent condition, made of durable materials. Worse, when an office is formed from a wobbly table and chair, broken drawers and pencil cases without handles, in the hope of soon replacing old items with new ones. As a rule, this “soon” does not come for a long time, and you suffer from your own short-sightedness.

Correctly:

The choice of home office furniture should be approached carefully, and even if it is not new, it must be tested for strength and quality so that later you do not regret the money spent and the time spent searching for items.

  • An excess of colors

Beautiful cheerful colors energize and inspire you to work harder and yet, the office does not need to be oversaturated with flashy colors. Some of them are too active (yellow, red, fuchsia) and make it difficult to focus on the main tasks.

Correctly:

If you apply bright combinations correctly, they will not only not hurt, but will help restore strength during a work break. So, you should not place bright color spots on the desktop and the wall in front of it: it will be difficult to focus on something else. It is better if the color finds use in the upholstery of the chair you are sitting on, on the rug under your feet, on the wall behind you.

  • cold floor

Being in a sitting position for a long time, we lose flexibility, quickly freeze and get tired. These discomforts can be exacerbated if there is tiled flooring or other floor material that is cold to the touch underfoot.

Correctly:

You are not ready to replace the coating or use a warm floor system, but it will not be superfluous to lay a soft and warm rug, fur bedding or mat.
