Yesterday you watched how to weave in 5 minutes, and today I want to offer you another 5-minute craft! Only this time the main material will be paper. And I propose to make a cute lizard that can serve as both a toy for a child and a decoration for a gift ...

To make a lizard you will need:

thick colored paper, a mock-up knife and scissors, a hole punch to make circles (but you can do without it), glue, and a pen to write your wishes.

We start by downloading and printing.

Then cut out the lizard, and swipe BACK SIDE knife (or NOT a writing pen) along the center line.

After that, you begin to decorate it - glue circles on the back, make eyes from 2-3 circles ...

If you have zigzag scissors, then cut off 2 strips with them, these will be the lizard's teeth. If not, then skip this step and immediately make a language.

Sign the wishes, placing the inscription on the tail - where there are no circles.

And now - the most interesting. The made lizard must be bent. Start, for example, from the head - and move along the intended line.

Now you will learn how to make a beaded lizard for beginners, this master class with a weaving pattern and step-by-step photos. The craft is not as complicated as or.

To make a beaded lizard, you will need the following materials:

- 2 gram green beads (Preciosa Ornela, No. 53230);
- 1 gram of shiny green beads "light" (Preciosa Ornela, No. 57120);
- 2 grams of beige beads (Preciosa Ornela, No. 07631);
- 3 black beads - for the nose and eyes of the lizard (Preciosa Ornela, No. 23980);
- fishing line 0.16 mm.

Beaded Lizard

We perform the work using the “parallel weaving” technique, starting with the spout. On a piece of fishing line about 80-90 cm, we collect 1 black bead (nose) and 2 beige. We pass the free end of the fishing line towards the weaving of 2 beige beads, tighten. We align so that the weaving is in the center and the ends are the same length.

Next, we collect 2 green beads - this will be the back of the lizard. We pass the free end of the fishing line towards, pull it up. Already at this stage, it is clear that further rows will alternately stack in a zigzag, forming a back and a tummy.

The fourth row - 3 beige beads, the fifth - 3 green beads. Weaving must be tightly tightened after each row so that the finished product is stiff and does not hang. For the same reason, it is better not to use thread or monofilament in weaving.

Bottom view:

The sixth and seventh rows - 4 beige and green beads, respectively.

The eighth row - 5 beige beads, in the ninth row, the eyes appear at the lizard: we collect 1 green bead, 1 black, 1 green, 1 black and 1 more green in sequence, pass with the free end towards, tighten the weave - the lizard has a muzzle.

To complete the head, we collect 3 beige beads - 12th row.

Until now, we have used only light green beads in our work. For the 13th row, we string 1 light, 1 shiny and 1 more light green beads on the fishing line. At the end of the 13th row, the lizard head is completely ready. The pattern on the back of the lizard begins from the same row.

14 row - 4 beige beads, 15 row - 1 light, 2 shiny, 1 light green beads.

16th row - 5 beige beads, 17th row - we alternately collect 1 bead each: light, shiny, light, shiny, light. The pattern on the back is expanding.

18 row - 6 beige beads. Before the 19th next, it is necessary to make the front paws of the lizard: on one end of the fishing line we collect 6 green light beads, we pass the first 3 dialed beads towards the same end of the fishing line.

We tighten the fishing line - we got the first foot.

We do the same at the second end of the fishing line - we get the second foot.

19 row - again the back with a pattern: 1 light green bead, 1 shiny, 2 light, 1 shiny, 1 light. We make sure that the rows fit in a zigzag.

28 row - 6 beige beads.

Now we make the hind legs absolutely identical to the manufacture of the front ones.

29 row - 6 green beads with the same pattern.

1 pair - 3 beads. On this row, the pattern on the tail of the lizard ends.

Then 2 pairs - 2 beads each.

2 green beads...

... and finish with 1 green bead. We tighten the weaving again, tie a knot, cut off the remnants of the fishing line.

The beaded lizard is ready!

The image of the lizard is very much loved by the masters. Many invest in this small reptile a sense of wisdom, femininity, strength. Therefore, the lizard is often found in women's jewelry. But a lizard sewn from a fabric from a magical animal immediately turns into a fun children's toy :)

Irina Rudman (New York) has been working with wool for a long time and seriously. Among her works is the scarf "Lizard". Devore silk, 18 micron merino, 15 micron silk/merino mix, purchased eyes self made. I tried to paint with salt to achieve the effect that batikists achieve by scattering salt or urea over the drawing. So far it hasn't worked.

Another lizard in the decorations of Maksimova Lena from Chelyabinsk region. She is engaged in the creation of jewelry from beads and stones.

You will need:

Scissors;

Simple pencil;

Helium pen silver or white;

Light green cardboard;

Paper in orange, blue, blue and white;

Stationery knife.

Manufacturing process

To begin, cut out a lizard at random from light green cardboard. With a simple pencil, draw a line from the tip of the mouth to the tip of the tail. Take a clerical knife and with a blunt end, gently draw along this line without pressing. It is important not to cut the cardboard.

Using hole punchers, make 2 blue star circles, 2 smaller white circles, and 2 even smaller blue circles. Glue them together with glue to make eyes.

Glue the eyes onto the lizard's head. Using a hole punch, make a few more blue and blue circles and glue them on the back of the lizard.

Cut out blanks for teeth from white paper - 2 for each side of the mouth.

Glue the pieces to back side lizard mouth. Cut a tongue out of orange paper and glue it to the back of the lizard's mouth.

Use a helium pen to write a congratulation on the lizard's tail.

Gently bend the lizard along the fold line. 3D lizard is ready!

You can attach the lizard to a gift box by gluing one leg to the inside of the box.

In addition, you can have fun creating several of these lizards of different colors and sizes for a fabulous terrarium. You can decorate such a house for cardboard reptiles with moss and pebbles. Gather a whole family of lizards!

Everyone has long been accustomed to the fact that many houses have dogs, cats, hamsters, fish or parrots. Yes, they are the most popular pets. Sometimes these little animals become our real friends and full members of the family. But have you ever thought that other animals can be kept at home? Do you want to know how to keep a lizard at home? Read in this article.

Surely, you have often met a small, very fast animal with long tail when walking with parents in the forest or in the park. Lizards are very similar to a snake or a small crocodile. But unlike snakes, lizards have four legs. And unlike crocodiles, they are very small, fast and not at all dangerous to humans.

The lizard is the most convenient animal to keep in captivity:

  • it doesn't take up much space
  • does not make loud noises
  • it does not need to be walked twice a day every day,
  • she does not have wool, which can cause allergies.

How to keep a lizard at home: terrarium

Like any animal, a lizard must have its own home. The house for the lizard is called a terrarium. This is the same aquarium, only without water. The terrarium can be chosen by yourself different shapes, but there is one prerequisite: the height of the house for the lizard should be slightly higher than two lengths of the animal's body. If you keep a lizard at home without a terrarium, it can get sick, run away or get domestic injury. It is very easy to step on a small animal.

At the bottom of the terrarium, a layer of environmentally friendly earth should be poured, without fertilizers and additives. If the quality of the land is in doubt, contact the pet store with your parents. They will always offer special fillers for animal houses - coconut chips, sand, shavings for rodents. There are even special rugs, they can also be put in a terrarium. It is also good to lay out the bottom with pieces of the bark of various trees. In nature, the lizard loves to climb trees. Place some strong branches and even large stones in the terrarium. Your new girlfriend will be grateful.

The lizard is a light-loving heat-loving animal. You will have to provide two special zones in the terrarium: one warm, where the temperature will be kept within 36 ° C, and cooler, with temperatures up to 30 ° C. Keep in mind that at night the temperature in the terrarium should not fall below 21 ° C, otherwise the lizard will freeze and start to get sick. Support this temperature regime with a glass-ceramic lamp. The lamp will also help to well illuminate the house for the lizard.

Humidity is another very important point for animal health. The lizard does not like dry rooms. Natural humidity for the little animal is 50-70%. Therefore, in the cool area of \u200b\u200bthe terrarium, put a special container of water so that your girlfriend can bathe from time to time. And be sure to spray the terrarium every day. clean water, but at the same time do not forget to ventilate well so that fungi and mold do not start in the ground.

How to feed a lizard

Keep in mind that in wild nature lizard is a predator. It feeds on insects, worms, even small rodents or small bird eggs.
