After the V Ecumenical Council, the opinion about the creation of human souls began to prevail, later the doctrine of the birth of souls became more common. Both of these opinions complement each other.
The laws of the spiritual world are not known to us. We can only assume that a person receives a soul from his parents, but a person becomes a unique and unrepeatable person as a result of a special Divine influence.
