Of course, baked apples can also be cooked in the oven, and this is also a wonderful dessert, but in the microwave, firstly, it is faster, and secondly, sometimes you want to bake only 2-3 apples, and use the oven in such a situation, gently I mean, it's irrational.

You will need microwave-safe utensils. It is better not to take a small plate: during baking, a certain amount of liquid is released, which from a small plate can easily leak in all directions. It is convenient to use small ceramic baking dishes or heat-resistant glassware, and a low plastic container will do if it can be put in the microwave.

We suggest that you consider three basic options that will differ in taste and “softness level”, as well as in shape. In any case, apples must first be washed and wiped.

Option 1. Cut the apples in half, remove the stalks. We remove the core with seeds and make a small depression-hole (this is convenient to do with a teaspoon or a small ice cream spoon). We put the apples in the dishes in which we will bake them, cut up.


In the recesses in the center of each half of the apple, put a little honey or jam. If desired, sprinkle with cinnamon or something else (we did not do this now).

In our case: three small apples, not very hard and not very soft, we baked 8 minutes at 850 watts. We take out the baked apples from the microwave, let them cool slightly - and you can eat! We remind you: this dessert is no less tasty when cold, so you can cool it to room temperature. The advantage of this method of preparation is that the apples will retain their shape, and the disadvantage is that the peel may be too hard and slightly spoil your enjoyment of the dessert. So let's consider another option.



Option 2. We peel the apples, cutting it off in a thin layer, cut it into quarters or even into 8 slices, if the apples are large, remove the core, stalks and “buttocks”, and put them in a baking dish in one layer.

  • granulated sugar - 2 tbsp. spoons;
  • egg - 1 piece;
  • raisins - 2 tbsp. spoons;
