To make dumplings with cottage cheese you will need:

For the test:

warm water - 1 glass;

egg - 1 pc.;

flour - 3.5 cups;

salt - 1/4 tsp

For filling:

cottage cheese - 350 g;

sugar, salt - to taste.

For cooking:

water - 3 liters;

salt - 1/2 tsp

Additives:

butter, sour cream, berry jam (optional).




To prepare the filling for dumplings, put cottage cheese in a bowl, add salt and sugar to taste. Stir and the filling is ready.

For the test:

  • premium wheat flour - 2 cups
  • milk of any fat content - 100 ml
  • chicken egg - 1 pc.
  • salt - a pinch

For filling:

  • cottage cheese - 250g
  • yolk of 1 egg
  • sugar - 4 tbsp. tablespoons (you can add more or less to your taste)

For submission:

  • butter
  • sour cream
  • sweet sauce
  • berries

From the indicated amount of ingredients, approximately 30 medium-sized dumplings will be obtained.

Cooking sweet dumplings with cottage cheese

1. Mix the sifted flour, chicken egg and a pinch of salt in a deep bowl.


2. Next, add milk, necessarily cold! Before cooking dumplings, do not forget to cool it. Due to milk, the dough for dumplings with cottage cheese turns out to be very soft and tender, and the finished products from it are very tasty.


3. Knead the tough dough. It will take about 10 minutes or more to knead. A good dough should not stick to your hands, so while kneading, you can add a little flour or milk to even out the consistency of the dough.


4. From ready dough cut off a piece, form a sausage out of it, cut it into pieces about 2 cm wide.


5. Roll out each piece with a rolling pin sprinkled with flour.


6. Now you can do the stuffing for dumplings. To do this, add granulated sugar and yolk to the cottage cheese, stir and rub everything with a fork until smooth.


7. For each circle of dough, lay out about a teaspoon (with top) of the sweet curd filling.


8. We make dumplings: fold the circle with the filling in half, connect the ends, pressing with your fingers. We do the same manipulation with all the blanks.


9. To cook dumplings with cottage cheese, you need to lower them into boiling salted water, set the fire to medium power. Cook for about 4 minutes after they have surfaced. It is best to stir them with a wooden spoon or spatula so as not to damage the dough.


Throw ready dumplings in a colander or catch with a slotted spoon.


Serve hot, drizzled with melted butter or sweet syrup. You can add sour cream and berries.

1. First, knead the dough. It is better to combine the ingredients in a bowl, and then knead the dough on the table. But I decided to do everything at once on the table. Pour 2.5 cups of flour and make a recess in it, into which beat the egg, add 1 tablespoon of sugar, a pinch of salt and immediately pour half a glass of water.

6. Put about one teaspoon of cottage cheese in each circle.



7. Blind the edges of the dumplings. Before gluing them, the edges of the circles and hands can be moistened with water or smeared with an egg. So the gluing will be more dense, and they will not scatter during cooking.

8. Cooking dumplings with cottage cheese is easy. Put them in boiling water and bring to a boil again. Then make the fire smaller, but so that they gurgle and continue to cook for 5–7 minutes, as a rule, they are ready to float to the top.

When serving on a plate, be sure to add a slice butter, and then to taste - sour cream, jam, or just sprinkle with sugar. But I love them with sour cream.
