What is the use of these charms? Your profession skill will be considered slightly higher (+2/+5) than it actually is. This will allow you to collect flowers that are not available at your current skill level. For example, if your herbalism skill is 66 and Sharpthorn requires 70 skill points to collect, you can collect it if you have a +5 herbalism enchantment on your gloves.

Of the three spells named above, the most useful and cheapest is Collector. If you don't manage to find enchantments at the auction, don't be discouraged, the benefits from them are not so great.

Herbalist bags

With a serious approach to the profession, the collected grass will take up a lot of space in your bags. This can be somewhat compensated by using special, more capacious bags for herbs. At the moment, the largest of them are:

All three bags are made by tailors.

Herbalism 1-700

Areas highlighted in orange on the map mean that flowers are found everywhere within them.

Mostly you will come across Golden Clover, but you can also find Tiger Lily near rivers and lakes. However, be aware. That it takes 375 Herbalism to collect Tiger Lily.

The area is rich in various kinds of herbs. The most common is the Asp Tongue, but you can also find Tiger Lilies and Golden Clover in addition to it. If it doesn't make any difference to you which herb to collect (you don't upgrade a companion profession), you can stay in Sholazar Basin until you reach 450 skill points.

If you don't need Heart Blossom for any purpose, you can stay in Hyjal until you get your profession to 500. In this case, you won't have to gather herbs in the Underdark.

By and large, Uldum is a desert. Therefore, in most of the location, flowers do not grow. You should look for Whiptail near rivers and lakes.

Herbalism is a gathering profession and therefore you will have to run around the locations quite a lot. Best of all, herbalism is paired with alchemy, as it provides the raw materials for pumping it. It can also be combined with an outline. So if for some reason you have not yet chosen your professions, then it makes sense to pump herbalism and alchemy.

Important: This guide has been updated for patch 8.0.1 (current version of World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth). But for those who download herbalism on pirate WoW servers, it will also be useful. Locations and places where this or that grass grows have not changed, so you can use the maps without problems.

Like mining, herbalism hasn't changed much over time, although a few major changes have been made. For collecting grass after the release of "Cataclysm" they began to give experience. In the addition of MoP, the ability to collect grass was untied from the skill level. Rip what you want and where you want, but the amount of collected resources still depends on the skill level - the lower they are, the less you can carry away. In the same add-on, engineers began to make a Sky Golem.

The peculiarity of this mount is that you do not need to get off it to collect grass. So don't waste your money - buy it. In the next expansion, Warlords of Draenor, herbalists, like miners, suffered the most - now each player in the garrison had his own garden from which to collect herbs. As a result, the value of the profession has drastically decreased. However, in Legion everything was returned back. Or rather, there is no garrison here and you can’t collect grass.

One of the innovations of the Battle for Azeroth expansion, which seriously affects leveling, is that the skill is now divided into tiers. Each tier corresponds to an addition. The most important thing is that the ranges are independent of each other. If you want to level up the skill for collecting herbs in Northrend, then you do not need to run around the locations of the Old World and Outland. You simply find an herbalist teacher in Northrend, learn from him and pump the skill. The tier distribution is shown below. In general, we can say that this did not particularly affect the pumping routes. The total number of points is 950.

  • 1-300 - herbalism
  • 1-75 - Outland herbalism
  • 1-75 - Northrend Herbalism
  • 1-75 Cataclysm Herbalism
  • 1-75 - Pandarian Herbalism
  • 1-100 - Draenic Herbalism
  • 1-100 - Legion Herbalism
  • 1-150 - Kul Tiran / Zuldazar Herbalism

Check out the video below for other major changes to Battle for Azeroth professions.

The basis of this guide is copied from and also from here.

Oh, garrisons, garrisons. Although many people found them not to their liking, most players used them to mine gold or resources. The era of garrisons will be gone forever on August 30th, giving way to completely different things. What? This article is dedicated to this.

And yes, looking ahead, I inform you, my dear readers, that it will be possible to extract resources in the Legion, regardless of the profession studied by the character. Rejoice and rejoice (or vice versa, be sad and panic), depending on what you like best. Although, of course, their extraction will be much more difficult than in Draenor. But about everything in order.

By leveling your reputation with one or another faction, usually either to respect or to respect, you will gain access to a special cup for your equipment. Legion: Herbalism 01.11.2016

This article describes all the subtleties and nuances of the Herbalism profession in Legion, the rank system, quests associated with the profession, as well as various interesting and not obvious points.

What's new and unique in Legion?

Unlike Mining and Skinning, herbalism has changed less in the new expansion. But this is only at first glance! All the innovations will be discussed in detail below, now I would like to focus on the following point:

  • There are now ranks in herbalism, as well as in other mining professions. With this system, when you collect certain herbs, you will be able to complete tasks associated with them, and as a reward you will receive more resources.

How to learn herbalism in Legion?

In order to learn this profession, you need to go to Dalaran to Kuhyune Softstep. If you decide to go into herbalism only in Legion, you will not have to learn intermediate ranks, you can immediately upgrade the profession from 1 to 800.

How to download herbalism in Legion?

To start mining herbs in the Broken Isles, any location is suitable, except for Suramar - Stormheim, Val'sharah, Highmountain, and Azsuna. One collected "vein" of grass will give one skill point. The listed four locations adjust the level of tasks, rewards, opponents to the player. Accordingly, you can start with any you like. However, it must be remembered that each of the locations grows its own type of grass. The only exception is Seed of Ysera.

Suramar, unlike the rest of the Broken Isles, is designed for level 110 players. Therefore, it is dangerous to go there before receiving it - the opponents will be too tough, and you will not be able to get tasks.

IMPORTANT! In Legion, it doesn't make sense to try to max out a skill as quickly as possible just by collecting herbs. By receiving quest items from it, you will be able to do tasks that increase the production of grass, and at the same time systematically increase the skill of Herbalism.

Types of grass in Legion

There are quite a few types of grass in the Legion add-on, to be exact - 7. 1 for each location, as well as two more that are common to everyone.

  • Seed of Ysera - there is a chance to get it by collecting grass of any kind.
  • Felwort - Legion's counterpart to the Lotus.
  • Star Rose - grows in Suramar. Sometimes, instead of the grass itself, you will get Star Rose Pollen. In addition, large bushes will sometimes appear in the location. With them you will get more Star Rose.
  • Fjarnskaggl - grows in Stormheim.
  • Foxflower - grows in Highmountain. When you collect grass from a bush, a fox may appear with a certain chance. You can also get Foxflower from it. The further you follow her, the more you collect!
  • Dreamleaf - grows in Val "Shara. There are also desecrated bushes, when exposed to which unknown creatures appear. To get grass, they must be destroyed.
  • Aythril - grows in Azsuna. When you collect grass from a bush, Withered will be summoned with a certain chance. By killing him, you will receive additional grass.

With the help of Herbalism, you can decorate the Floating City! Scattered throughout Dalaran are areas in which you can plant seeds, so that later they germinate and make life in the City of Mages a little more comfortable.

In addition, you have the opportunity to grow grass yourself. This can be done by planting grass seeds in patches of Fertile Soil located near water in the Broken Isles.

Learn more about ranks and quests!

To get a new rank, you will need to complete several quests that you will receive by collecting a quest item when extracting grass. Ranks give certain bonuses: 1 and 3 - increase the amount of grass obtained from a certain type of bush.
