1. First of all, you need to prepare the most common shortcrust pastry and for this:

2. After we need to divide this resulting dough into two unequal parts. one of which (which is smaller) is put in the freezer to harden, so that it would be easier to grate - we will need it to prepare those very "curls".


3. The remaining most of the dough will need to be rolled out with a rolling pin into a thin layer in the shape of a sheet on which we will bake the cake and pierce it in many places with a fork so that the dough does not warp during baking. Yes, it is best to roll out on parchment paper for baking, since the dough after cooking will be easy to separate from it and transfer it to a sheet on this paper much easier.
