For the tenth year in a row, StarHit magazine has been holding a unique contest that allows everyone to win a vacation in a paradise on the planet. Together with project winners Chief Editor magazine and program host "Live" Andrey Malakhov has already visited the United Arab Emirates, Greece, Thailand, Cyprus and even Sardinia. Until the last minute, the winners of the competition did not know where they were flying. Only on the way to the airport it turned out that their path lies in the Dominican Republic. There, the lucky ones were waiting for a luxurious hotel, where 22 presidents of Latin American countries once rested, discos, dolphins, yachts, golf, the most incredible adventures and travels: to Bounty Island, to chocolate factory, on a yacht on the waves of the ocean and much more!
Irina Gribanova from the Saratov region came to the Dominican Republic for the first time. She is delighted with the rest, especially since during the holidays she and her husband Alexei celebrated 17 years of dating. Irina won thanks to a friend who noticed how tired she was, and together with the children sent an application for the competition. There her letter was considered one of the best!
Honored Captain Valentin Rodchenko, Hero of the Soviet Union, was also on the trip. In 1986, together with his team, he spent 133 days in ice captivity, returning on the Mikhail Somov ship from another voyage to Antarctica. The operation to save the ship went down in history. 40 years later, the film by Nikolai Khomeriki "Icebreaker", dedicated to those events, was released on the big screens. Thanks to the "good fairy" - Andrei Malakhov - Valentin Filippovich was also able to relax at a fabulous resort, from where he returned rejuvenated, to the delight of his many fans, who, after the competition, simply bombard him with letters and video messages.
The mother of three children, Larisa Chernenko, was forced to leave her native Lugansk and has been living in St. Petersburg for the fourth year. For the first time she went on vacation without children, for the first time she flew by plane, for the first time she visited the Caribbean, on Bounty Island. Now Larisa is firmly convinced that after such an adventure, when she was recharged with energy and optimism for a long time, she will finally be able to find a worthy life partner.
Ekaterina Ivanovna Borisova has endured tremendous stress this year trying to save her daughter Dana, who is struggling with drug addiction. Vacation came in handy for her. For the first time in for a long time she rested alone, and not as a nanny with her beloved granddaughter. Over the years, the winners of the competition have traveled half the world: Greece, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Cyprus, Italy, where new acquaintances, a sea of adventure and positive emotions awaited readers in the company of the editor-in-chief of the magazine.
The girl's letter was incredibly sincere and was the undisputed winner. Malakhov personally came to congratulate the main character of the letter directly to her work - in the city maternity hospital, where Elena works as a nurse in a children's intensive care unit.
“I feel like Santa Claus now,” the TV presenter shared, “I think it’s nice that Andrei Malakhov personally came from Moscow and tells the winner that she won the trip. The competition has been held for several years, we have received tens of thousands of letters. Of these, we choose the most sincere, with a good message.”
The winner was in a pleasant shock: “I still don’t believe in everything that happens! All this is very unexpected for me. I look forward to new emotions and impressions from the trip!”.
Andrei Malakhov spoke on the phone with the culprit of the victory - the daughter of Elena Lykosova, Ekaterina. She was even happier than the winner, because she managed to make a fantastic gift for her mother's anniversary.

About the competition
I have been watching the show "Let them talk" for a very long time. When the producers of the program again decided to launch the contest "On Vacation with Andrei Malakhov", I immediately decided to participate. I realized that I would win a ticket as soon as I sat down to write a letter for the transfer. Therefore, when they called me and said that I passed, I was not at all surprised.
Of course, it is very pleasant that out of 27,000 letters, it was mine that was chosen. I think it's because of the content. In the letter, I told about my fate, about life in an orphanage, about working as a horse breeder. Then the guys from Andrey's team admitted that they were crying while reading my message.
About the trip
I didn’t prepare in advance, I didn’t buy anything, since a lot of money had already gone into collecting documents: I needed a visa, a passport, an account statement. All my relatives supported me, my daughters and granddaughters were very happy! I was worried, but not much.
In September we went to the island. I arrived at the Moscow airport and met with the participants there. We quickly became friends and talked, so it was not scary to fly.
When we arrived in Italy, we were taken to the hotel. Andrey Malakhov arrived there in the evening. He is very pleasant! He hugged everyone, asked about the road. When he approached me, he did not recognize me at first, because I sent an old photo of me with a letter, where I have white hair. And when he guessed it, he said that I was much better, more beautiful and younger in life!
Every day we had different excursions: a winery, a cheese factory, architectural monuments. But I liked equestrianism the most. After all, I worked with horses for 33 years, as I worked as a groom at the Perm factory! I also tried a lot of dishes in Sardinia. Cheese and ice cream of different varieties, wine, coffee.
About Andrey Malakhov
All people who went on vacation have difficult fates. They chose them, because Andrei feels a person without even seeing him: just by letter. He is like a magician. Despite this, Andrei - very simple - hugged us, laughed with us. He doesn't care if you're rich or poor, he treats everyone the same. I gave Andrei a calendar with our Belogorsk monastery, he sincerely liked it.
Andrei, of course, is a very cheerful and charming man. When we were sitting in a restaurant the first evening, I accidentally spilled wine on myself. Andrei laughed and said: “To the money!”. And in general, he joked all evening, asking us about life. Awesome person!
By the way, tourists in Italy recognized him and took pictures with him, but Andrey was not “conceited”, he was rather indifferent to this.
In general, I really enjoyed the trip. Finally, I went abroad! And, of course, I will continue to watch Andrey Malakhov's programs.
