Hello survivors!
Actually, a question arose about the musket, it really comes out cheating, if I calculated the whole rule.
Let's say we can boost his damage to 45 through mods. And we will put a 6-step improvement, which will allow you to charge 6 shots at once. Let's pump the shooter perk to the end - plus 100% damage, total 90. We will also take perks best crits(150% bonus damage) and ninja 3.5 damage from stealth mode. We charge 6 charges - we get a total damage of 540. Use the accumulated crit - 1350 damage. And finally, we multiply the received damage by 3.5 - 4725. What kind of ultra nuclear rifle is this? Most likely my calculations are wrong, can someone point out the error?)
And the second question. What's the point of building shops by spending 2-3k caps on them, if the income comes from the number of people in the settlement, that is, 10-20 caps? This store will not pay off very soon and will begin to generate income. By the way, I saw on the screen the income from the store in the amount of 4.5k caps, how to achieve this?)
PS. A little advice for those who came to this topic. Plant Mutfruits in settlements, the more the better. Food is given 1 unit. And most importantly - they grow quickly and cost 8 caps each (you can sell caps for 4-5 with low charisma, but you can also indulge in chemistry) This will bring you a good income if you are ready to scold your settlements for half an hour and harvest!

By the time you pump all the perks (level 40-50) it will no longer seem like something supernatural. Other weapons will deal similar damage.

And about the shops - HZ. I don't even know what to do with them yet. Built two stores - they are empty ...

it feels like you haven't gone far beyond the first settlement. by that glorious moment when the musket can produce such damage, your lvl will be 40+, which means that the guns will be much more powerful and faster. besides, you forgot about 30% ignoring armor, enemies have resistance to energy damage, and the fact that in addition to the main perks there are magazines that increase crit damage, etc. groups of enemies, no one will simply let you accurately shoot 6 times, and even with crits. forget it, it's better for the paladin of the brotherhood to get a rare energy carbine for the quest with an increase in filling the crit scale. decide what you need first of all, become a master crafter, or a damage dealer, there are not so many lvl points. I forgot the main thing, the musket is a rare weapon, in my opinion, good barrel configurations are not found at all. so if you want to run around with this fart, you will have to get into crafting and forget about damage until lvl 19-20, but by that time normal barrels will fall like a cornucopia.
I won't say anything about settlements. in this game, the need for caps is greatly underestimated, some kind of glue will be more necessary, or skin. You can contact vendors only when absolutely necessary. if you shoot accurately, economically and very painfully, not letting anyone near you, then you will never feel the need for cartridges and medicines. my advice to you after the fight with humanoids, if your hp dipped a lot, don't rush to expand with stimulants or eat food, it's better to look for a bed nearby

Thanks for the answer! True, I did not understand at the expense of "shoot six times." It's about about the very first musket from Concord. You can charge 6 charges into it and shoot all these 6 charges at once. Just because of this property, the question arose. And I didn’t forget about other perks and things, chemistry, etc., that increase damage, it was just a fairly rough calculation)
I really didn’t go very far, I only ran around the northwestern corner of the map, level 18 ... Regarding weapons, I decided to download pistols, since it’s convenient for me to use vats (I play on ps), and very few ods are spent on pistols. I found a rare 10 mm pistol that reduces od consumption, now I can put the entire clip in vats in one sitting. Actually, I do not know what weapon to use better. I did not experience a lack of lids, in fact, the question was about the expediency of building stores. As I understand it, it’s better to score on this matter)

I also play on Sonya, I studied the north by 60-70 percent. the gun is not bad, but the range and damage are pretty mediocre. I carry an almost classic four on me: a pistol to brush off frail trash, a shotgun is very effective against swamps of glowing ghouls and elites who love close combat with sharp maneuvers from side to side, semi-automatic carbine for combat at medium distances, sniper rifle(a hunting carbine upgraded to a sniper rifle, inconvenient to the point of eerily, but a necessary thing for skirmishes at extreme distances). I don’t dare to use automatic weapons yet, when you spend more ammo per battle than you loot from a corpse, it’s not buzzing. you will have a hard time with a pistol, the cartridges are different, and a 10 mm pistol is not very common in the wasteland, at the beginning of the wasteland, compared to smooth-bore trash. and all sorts of kamikazes will add problems, especially in this regard, super mutants with a nuclear warhead from a fat man are "good", if they reach the end of the game, and if you manage to kill him, you will become a little richer for a nuclear projectile. it’s better to use carbines, in this regard they can be more versatile and multifunctional, don’t be afraid to change battle tactics, use different types weapons, but don’t get too carried away, it’s really only 4-5 barrels that can be actively pumped, you won’t get enough glue for everything about everything. stealth, I xs, it’s better to pump it after lvl 20, when you pump crafting and breaking locks and terminals, the sense of stealth when you can’t go from the flank, and it’s very inconvenient to play an assassin without a muffler on the barrel. enemies with visibility and hearing are all right, they detect the player from afar. of course, at the initial pores, for hidden, repainting the armor in dark color, but I'm sorry to lose the increased maximum load capacity for the dubious advantage of the first shot

There are hundreds of different weapons in Fallout 4 that can be found throughout the game world, get legendary weapon with a random bonus, craft or modify. Enter the museum

Take laser musket (optional)

While traveling through Concord, on the balcony of the Museum of Liberty, you notice a man who is protecting a group of settlers from attacks by raiders. He asks you for help. Under the balcony lies a short laser musket and ammunition from it - thermonuclear batteries. Grab them if you're interested in watching your enemy turn to ash. Then enter the museum.

Reference: Short laser musket

Damage: 30 (energy)

Ammunition: Thermonuclear batteries

Rate of fire: 6

Range: 107

Accuracy: 70

The weight: 12,6

Price: 61

The standard laser musket is not as accurate as other energy rifles, but is more powerful due to the unique reloading process. The laser musket must be manually reloaded [R] before firing. The standard model allows you to charge a maximum of two batteries at a time, but more advanced models of the laser musket can hold up to six charges.

This model is slightly modified and can only be found near the Museum of Freedom. For comparison, the standard model short laser musket has a range of 71 and a lower price.

Find captured settlers

But first you have to clear the museum from the raiders. There are seven of them, and you are one / one - use your brand new weapon and “grind” them to dust! Between skirmishes on your way to the upper floor where the settlers are being held, feel free to look around at the walls of the museum, enjoy the remains of the art.

But first, go down to the basement, hack the light terminal or open the light lock with hairpins and take the nuclear block. You will need it later. Why are you running around?

Now, run upstairs, save the hostages.

Talk to Preston Garvey

Meet Preston Garvey and the survivors of the Minutemen. They will be friendly, although they are in stalemate. Agree to help him and Sturges with providing fire support against the remaining raiders in the city.

Clue

The museum has two exhibits that you will like:

Bobblehead Perception on a table in the far corner of the room. It will give you a +1 bonus to your Perception attribute.

Magazine "RobCo - Fun"— on a table with a working terminal on which Sturges leaned.

Get a nuclear block

You have already done this before.

Insert a nuclear block into power armor

Through the back door, go to the roof, where the power armor is located.

Wear Power Armor

Yes, she's not in best condition, but good enough to help you deal with the raiders.

Reference: T-45 Power Armor

The T-45 Power Armor can't match the protection offered by more advanced models, but it does support a full range of modifications. This model power armor not very common, but a complete set can only be found on the roof of the Liberty Museum in Concord.

Take minigun

Rip the minigun from the vertibird if you want to feel the firepower.

Reference: Standard minigun model

Damage: 8 (gunshot)

Ammunition: 5mm ammo

Rate of fire: 272

Range: 131

Accuracy: 35

The weight: 27,4

Price: 382

The minigun combines low damage with an impressive rate of fire, resulting in a very effective firearms. The large magazine allows for continuous fire, and with the mods available, you can improve both your rate of fire, your accuracy, and your damage percentage. I like it 22
