On September 19, No. 2143 and order of the Ministry of Railways No. 652 / Ts of September 23, 1946 “On the organization of railway departments, the consolidation of traffic departments, steam locomotive departments and wagon sections of railways”, it was prescribed to organize 274 departments on the road network within two months.
