Unfortunately, this summer-autumn part of the championship was not entirely successful for Dmitry. In the spring, at the end of the previous season, the football player was injured - again a cruciate ligament rupture, but on the other leg. Half a year the defender did not enter the field.
“Recovery after the operation went well,” Dmitry said. “It was not the first time I had such an injury, I already knew what was waiting for me. According to my feelings, I feel good, nothing bothers me. And my form should be evaluated by the head coach and fans who watch my game from the outside. There is a training camp ahead in January, and I hope that I will quickly get in shape.
- If you sum up the results of the first part of the championship, which game do you remember the most?
- I think that not only me, but also the fans remember the game with Dynamo Moscow. We won at home with a score of 2:1. The excitement at the stadium was overwhelming. I think as long as it Best game in the season.
- Fakel fans have been dreaming for a long time that the team will finally reach the Premier League. Do the players set themselves such a goal?
- Of course, we want to go to the Premier League. I want to improve myself, to raise my level. But, unfortunately, not everything depends on the players. To enter the Premier League, you need to approach more comprehensively, you will need other funding and infrastructure. For now, they are just talking about it. For our part, we will do everything in our power to please the fans. Now Fakel is fifth in the standings. I am sure that we are quite capable of competing for 3rd and 4th places in order to play the play-offs for promotion to the Premier League.
- Which of the players is an example for you, who do you especially focus on?
- If you take the position of the defender in which I play, then I like Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid. For me, in world football, this is the standard of a defender. In the Russian championship, I am very impressed with the right-back Mario Fernandez from CSKA.
— Have you got used to Voronezh in two years?
— Yes, I really like the city. I don’t have much time to go out, but I try to go to the cinema, I am a movie fan, I don’t miss a single premiere. And I like Voronezh for the most part because of the fans who go to the stadium. I am very glad that so many people are interested in football. While playing for Fakel, I received offers from other clubs, but I am satisfied with the team, it is with them that I would like to reach the Premier League.

To begin with, this is not my first injury of this kind. The cruciate ligament rupture was in the other leg. It happened in 2014, just before moving to Fakel, my rehabilitation period ended. So I've been through this before. I can only say that when you get in shape, there is no big difference between what was before the injury and what was after the injury. The most important thing is to enter into the game rhythm, into game contact. This cannot be done in the training process. Only through the game, official fights can this be achieved.
- Where did you live and what did you do during treatment and rehabilitation?
After the operation was done in Moscow, he went home to Vladivostok for a month and a half. In addition to physiotherapy, I needed rest, and my mother will provide it best of all. Then he returned to the capital again. The guys, and the first of them - Vanya Drannikov, told me about a good rehabilitation specialist - Maria Yuryevna Gurova from the Lokomotiv football club. The rehabilitation process itself took place in several stages. First, I spent a month and a half at the base of the "railroad workers", then I left for Voronezh for a couple of weeks. Then again he lived in Moscow for a month and again returned to Voronezh, where he was recovering under the guidance of the team doctor Oleg Viktorovich Golubev. The third time I went to Lokomotiv for three weeks, and for the rest of the time I worked again with our club doctor, until they were allowed to train with everyone.
- Why didn't you get a run-in at Fakel-M?
It is the head coach who decides whether to try himself before the game in the main team in the "youth team" or not. If I had been sent to Fakel-M, I would have played, definitely.
- What has changed in our team compared to this spring, and what has remained the same?
First of all, there were many newcomers. The situation turned out to be similar to the one that was when Fakel entered the FNL from the second division. As for the microclimate, in my opinion, the team has become more united. The guys, who have been playing in the team for the second year, got used to each other, mutual understanding improved.
- Voronezh is not tired yet?
Yes you! Very, very attached to this city. I am happy to play for Fakel. It's nice to see such dedicated fans who deserve to have their city's club in the Premier League. I think that we will be up to the task of going there if it is officially assigned to us.
- At the finish of the first round, can you predict the results of the FNL championship this season?
I don't want to get ahead of myself, talking about the final place of our team, but we have the task of winning every match. As for who will take first place, in my opinion, it will be Dynamo Moscow. But the fact that "Tosno" will be the second - I'm not one hundred percent sure. Although the task, as far as I know, is before him.
- Who are our main competitors in the fight for the top four?
It seems to me that this is SKA-Khabarovsk, which aims to get into transitional matches, and Enisey. But don't discount Kuban and Mordovia, which, I think, will get their points.
- What do you think, what are the points losses of the Voronezh team connected with?
I can only speak for the games I have played. For example, we didn't realize our chances against Baltika, which we had a lot of. But this happens even with leaders. Well, if we talk in general about the reasons for the loss of points, here at some points there is not enough concentration, somewhere luck, and in some matches the opponent was frankly stronger.
- When Fakel played in Vladivostok this season, were you at the game?
