  • Sour cream - 2 table. l

Recipe "meatballs with gravy"

In a deep bowl, put all the ingredients for making meatballs. Namely: minced meat, boiled rice, carrots grated on a coarse grater, finely chopped onion, egg and salt to taste. You can add your favorite spices if you like.




We mix everything until a homogeneous mass.




We form with hands moistened in cold water, roll them in flour and put in a pan with vegetable oil.




Fry the meatballs on all sides over medium heat until a light brown crust forms.




Now let's prepare the gravy for the meatballs. Put the tomato paste, sour cream, flour, salt and, if desired, spices in a bowl. If the tomato paste is sour, then add 0.5 teaspoon of sugar.

Meatballs and gravy for them (as in kindergarten!) are prepared very simply. First, boil the rice until it is half cooked. Then peel the onion and finely chop it. Mix with minced meat and salt to taste. Now you need to knead this mixture well so that it becomes homogeneous. Add rice and egg to minced meat, mix well again. Next, you need to form meatballs like in kindergarten. The recipe does not require a lot of ingredients. Take 500 grams of any minced meat, half a glass of rice, head onion medium size, one chicken egg, one bouillon cube, half a glass of sour cream, salt and pepper to taste. First, wash and boil the rice until half cooked. This will shorten the cooking time for the meatballs. Then we recline it in a colander and rinse with water. Mix minced meat with chicken egg and chopped onion. Salt and pepper to taste. Now you can add rice. We mix all the ingredients to get a homogeneous mass. From the cube you need to prepare the broth (you can take ready-made) and bring it to a boil. Now we form balls from minced meat and throw them into the broth. Yes, needless to say, the universal dish of meatballs, as in kindergarten. How to cook them quickly and tasty? If you use an oven, it will take a little less time. You will need half a kilogram of ground pork and beef, an onion and two-thirds of a glass of rice. Boil rice a little and mix with minced meat and chopped onions. Then we sculpt round meatballs from this mass and put them in a convenient container. So that the stuffing does not stick to the hands, they must be moistened with water. Now let's prepare the sauce. We mix ketchup, mayonnaise and sour cream in arbitrary proportions. Ketchup can be replaced with tomato paste. We spread the sauce on the meatballs and put them in the oven. We bake for about 40 minutes at a temperature of 180-200 degrees. When serving, decorate with herbs.

Swedish Meatballs

The standard recipe for meatballs was described above, as in kindergarten. But the option that we will talk about now is somewhat different. But perhaps this dish will suit your taste the most. For cooking, take half a kilogram of minced beef, two small onions, 150 milliliters of milk, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, two large spoons of flour, 20 grams of butter, 300 milliliters of sour cream, fresh parsley and 6 spoons of cranberry sauce. Melt the butter in a frying pan and fry the chopped onion until soft. Separately, mix milk and breadcrumbs and set aside this mixture for 15 minutes. Then we pour the milk into a bowl, and add minced meat, onion, salt, pepper and chopped herbs to the breadcrumbs. Also add a few tablespoons of milk. Mix everything well and form balls. We spread them on a baking sheet for 30 minutes, and then fry in butter, rolling in flour. Serve ready-made meatballs with sour cream and cranberry sauce.

  2. Minced meat is best cooked by yourself. AT classic recipe pork with beef is used. You can choose any meat you like. Boil the meat until done. After that, pass it through a meat grinder twice. This way you will achieve the most uniform consistency.
  3. Mix minced meat with cooled rice.

  9. Fry over medium heat for 5 minutes.

5. Put buckwheat on the vegetables and pour water two centimeters above the buckwheat. Salt. Put in the oven for 40-50 minutes at a temperature of 180-200 gr.


6. Next, let's deal with minced meat. I have pork + beef. Boil rice in advance in lightly salted water until half cooked. Add rice (cooled down), an egg, finely chopped onion to the minced meat (it is better if you immediately twist it there when cooking minced meat), salt, pepper .Mix everything together well!

7. Form balls from the minced meat, if it sticks strongly to the hands, then periodically moisten the hand with water.

8. Heat up a frying pan with vegetable oil and fry the meatballs on one side 3-5 minutes. The fire is maximum. If someone has a desire, then first you can roll the meatballs in flour so that they keep their shape.

9. Then turn over and fry on the other side also for 3-5 minutes.

10. While the meatballs are fried quickly, dilute in half a glass for 1 hour. spoon of tomato paste + salt.

11. Pour into the pan to the meatballs and cover with a lid. Simmer for 10 minutes over medium heat.

12. Then dilute 1 tablespoon of sour cream + 1 tablespoon of flour in half a glass. Mix well so that there are no lumps.

13. After 10 minutes of stewing, turn the meatballs over and pour over the sour cream-flour mixture. Add the bay leaf. Close the lid, shake the pan so that everything is evenly mixed.
