The console in The Witcher 3 is intended exclusively for developers who have tested the game with it. Of course, such a tool should not be available in the standard version of the game, so it is impossible to call the console without additional mods. Fortunately, the craftsmen managed to "hack" The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Now anyone can enter The Witcher 3 cheats, with which you can get absolutely any item. You will be able to fully concentrate on the passage of the game story and not spend dozens of hours pumping Geralt.

To call the console in The Witcher 3, you need to install a special mod. You can download it on our website. Detailed installation of the mod is described on the download page.

After you have installed the Debug Console Enabler mod, go into the game and press the F2 or ~ (tilde) key. Using the F1 key, you can turn on the free camera mode, which is great for creating videos or screenshots.

Cheat codes are used quite actively, and many players take advantage of this opportunity. Initially, such codes appeared in order to separate ordinary players and developers. With this separation, the player gets access exclusively to the gameplay, while the developer must be able to change system codes and give special system commands to change the game or run certain test modes.

By itself, the cheat code is a command for the program. With the help of this program, the work of the rendered game objects is checked, as well as the possibilities of the gameplay and functions at different levels.

But very quickly, such codes began to be used by ordinary players, especially when online games appeared. Such programming commands have become effective backdoors and ways to gain competitive advantage, and players who use such codes have become known as "cheaters". However, such attempts to use dishonest ways of playing began to be suppressed by developers, and today in any online game there is a risk of being blocked when using even just one insignificant cheat code.

In offline games like The Witcher 3, cheat codes are used for other purposes:

  1. For learning the story. When you want to go through the game not for the sake of sports interest, but in order to find out the plot. Often in modern games there are many different ways to develop the game story, and if the first time the player is happy to go through all the stages in an honest way, then subsequent times can be simplified using the developer's program codes;
  2. To simplify the gameplay. For example, in The Witcher 3 Cheat codes allow you to get unlimited money resources or become immortal. This helps to speed up and simplify the game process, as well as to go through difficult stages of the game that the player for some reason cannot go through on their own;
  3. For troubleshooting. Glitches and errors happen in different games, and no one is immune from this. The slightest malfunction in the operation of a complex game program, and sometimes the game becomes simply impossible to pass. In such cases, developer codes help to get rid of such problems.

Program codes can be used temporarily, at a certain stage, or permanently throughout the entire gameplay. For example, for those who are interested in the plot itself interesting game, but there is no desire to participate in long battles with other characters, a code to kill all enemies within a certain radius would be a great option. Thus, the game turns into a classic quest that does not require the dexterity and reaction of the fingers necessary for playing a game battle. In addition, in the same Witcher there are places where it will be extremely difficult for the character to get out so as not to fall from a height, and in such situations it will be relevant to use the teleport capabilities to another place in God mode.

You need to understand that all programs for hacking games, both online and those that work without an Internet connection, are very dangerous for a PC and its system. When installing downloaded cracking programs, you may encounter the installation of various viruses, which ultimately damage the root files of the game at best, or harm the entire operating system of the computer. As a result, the PC fails quite quickly, and some problems will require not only cleaning the PC from viruses, but also reinstalling Windows.

Codes included in game program developers are more secure. They can be entered after starting the command line by pressing a certain combination of buttons on the keyboard. Text codes are entered into the command line that will not affect operating system, and can be canceled accordingly. These codes are initially "hardwired" into the game for use by their developers during gameplay testing, and remain in the program for further bug fixes. They can be used in games without harm to the PC, the system, or the game itself.

In the game The Witcher 3 Cheat codes can be entered into a special console, which is turned on in two main ways: using the system feature without installing mods, or by downloading a special mod.

Without downloading a special mod, the process of launching the console for entering codes will be three-step:

  1. Find the folder where the Witcher game is installed (…Steam\steamapps\common\The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\base), and find general.ini among the system game files;
  2. Run the file in Notepad and add a line to its text DBGConsoleOn=true , after which you need to save the modified file;
  3. Turn on the game, then press the tilde (symbol ~ on the keyboard), and if the console starts up, then you can simply enter the necessary codes into it

This method is simple, but not universal, since it does not work for everyone. After editing the desired file, the game may not start at all, or the console will still not start, despite the appropriate actions. If the game does not start, then it is worth checking whether the file has been modified. If the console simply does not start, then you can try the more complicated second method - download the mod.

Downloading a special mod must be done with extreme caution so as not to encounter dangerous viruses for the system. Moreover, it is possible to find detailed instructions, which will allow you to use the mod to run the Witcher 3 cheat codes for the player. This method is more complicated, but it is guaranteed to allow the codes to run even if the console does not start in the game after editing the above file.

Cheat codes for The Witcher 3 are a series of developer text commands that must be entered into the appropriate code entry console. The entire list of codes is quite long, and each code is responsible for certain functions in the game.

In the game folder, find the general.ini file, usually "The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\base" Open it with Notepad and find the section, add the line to the Negro: DBGConsoleOn=true Save the file and run the game. During gameplay, press [~] (tilde) or F2 to open the console. In the final version of the game, the console is locked, there is already a mod that allows you to turn it on. From here you can enter various cheat codes: Cat(1) - activate night vision mode Cat(0) - disable night vision additem (<имя>, <число>) - get the specified amount of the specified item addmoney (<число>) - get the specified amount of money removemoney (<число>) - remove the specified amount of money addgwintcards - get one of the Gwent cards on the table addexp (<число>) - get the specified amount of experience points ShowPins(1) - show all icons on the map ShowAllFT(1) - show all pointers setbeard(1) - grow a beard shave - remove hair from the face (shave off the beard) levelup - increase the level of the player by 1 god - invulnerability option 1 god2() - invulnerability option 2 god3() - invulnerability option 3 killall - kill all enemies learnskill (<умение>) - learn said skill re-entering will increase skill level by 1 secretgwint - play level as Gwent Ciri - play as Ciri Geralt - play as Geralt healme - replenish HP setlevel (<число>) - set the player level to the specified spawn (<имя>, <число>) - create the specified count. makeitrain - start rain stoprain - stop rain gotoKaerMorhen - teleport to Kaer Morhen gotoNovigrad - teleport to Novigrad gotoSkellige - teleport to Skellige Isles gotoPrologWinter - teleport to White Orchard gotoProlog - teleport to White Orchard winGwint(<число>) - win the current Gwent game with the specified number eatapple - apple Infinite money: Harvest skins Find a place in the game with a herd of cows or a herd of wild horses (for example, between a mill and a deserter camp in the White Orchard), then kill them all and collect them with them skins. Now meditate for a couple of hours and they will appear again, after which the procedure can be repeated. In this way, you can collect and then sell the skins to merchants. Endless money: Florens and pearls in Novigrad. Find a merchant selling shells during the day. Buy them, then dismantle the shells from the gunsmith and get pearls. Sell the pearls to the pawnbroker and buy florens (if he runs out of money, end the dialogue and then start again). Having bought all the florens, go to the bank and exchange the florens. Fall Damage Avoidance: While jumping off a ledge, double-click spacebar near the ground to cause Geralt to roll and avoid damage. Cache in the courtyard of the imperial castle After talking with Yennefer in Vizima, go out into the courtyard and use your witcher's flair to find a movable plate on one of the walls (in the courtyard, opposite the door of Yen's room). By clicking on it, a secret room will open on the left.

Locate the "general.ini" file in your Witcher 3 directory. (Usually "The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\base"). In the section, add the line: DBGConsoleOn=true Save the file and launch the game. Once in-game press the [~] (tilde) key to bring up the console. From here you can type various options for the effects listed below. Cat(1) - Activate night vision. additem (name, #) - Add any specified item and quantity to inventory. Also works for Gwent cards. addmoney (#) - Add crowns. addgwintcards - Adds one of all Gwent cards to deck.. addexp (#) - Adds specified amount of experience points. Cat(0) - Deactivate night vision. ShowPins(1) - Discover all map icons. ShowAllFT(1) - Discover all signposts. setbeard(1) - Grow beard. levelup - Increase player level by 1. god - Invincibility. killall - Kill all enemies. learnskill (skill) - Learn any skill desired. Re-entering command will increase skill level. secretgwint - Play a round of Gwent. Ciri - Play as Ciri. Geralt - Play as Geralt. healme - Refill HP. removemoney (#) - Remove crowns. shave - remove facial hair. setlevel (#) - Set player level to any level desired. spawn (name, #) - Spawn any specified NPCs. maketrain - Starts rainstorm. stoprain - Stops rainstorm. gotoKaerMorhen - Teleport to Kaer Morhen. gotoNovigrad - Teleport to Novigrad. gotoSkellige - Teleport to Skellige Isles. gotoPrologWinter - Teleport to White Orchard. gotoProlog - Teleport to White Orchard. winGwint(#) - Win current Gwent game with specified num

First, try to enable the console without mods:

Go to the folder with the installed game - The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt\bin\config\base\ - the required file: general.ini.

The file is opened with notepad or (Notepad++), To the only line in this document, add the following line below DBGConsoleOn=true and save the file.

The console is called by pressing the tilde (~) button, on the Russified keyboard the letter (Yo). It does not work for everyone, as does the use of mods.

There are thousands of commands, but I use the minimum, with the maximum efficiency (As Geralt says).

Console commands to change gameplay:

ShowAllFT (1) - Open all pointers on the map (I don’t remember, but in my opinion the next command is without the ability to teleport)

ShowPins(1) - Show all locations and icons on the map

ShowKnownPins(1) - Show all question icons on the map

AllowFT (1) - Teleportation from anywhere (Very convenient if you get lost or too lazy to look for a way out of the dungeon)

Addskillpoints() - Add Skill Points (Skill points are given by leveling up and by performing certain actions, such as killing monsters or completing a quest task. To open all abilities, you need more than 200 points.)

Setlevel() - Set the level (As you level up, skill points are also given)

Levelup - Level up

Addexp() - Add experience points (As experience increases, Geralt's level also increases. It follows that it is enough to enter a command to increase the level. But only with an increase in the level of added skill points will not be enough to open everything.)

Makeitrain - Turn on rain (There is such a command, but I only use the following one)

Stoprain - Disable hateful rain

Additem ("Soltis Vodka") - Bottomless Decanter (These commands will save you from having to keep track of your food and drink. The bottomless decanter also acts as alcohol when doing alchemy)

Additem ("Cornucopia") - Cornucopia(Food)

Console commands to enhance Geralt's abilities:

God - invulnerability (The team is unstable, mine turns off if there was a boot screen)

Healme - restore health (The command also affects Ciri)

Addabl("HorseBag3") - Increases the weight limit by 100%

Addabl("GeraltMult") - Increases damage dealt by 1000%.

Addabl("attack_explosion") - Increase damage and intensity of signs by 200%

Console commands to enhance the abilities of playable Ciri (When playing as Ciri):

Addabl("CiriBlink") - Adds Ciri the ability to flicker or move quickly (This is when she flickers like lightning, from one enemy to another)

Addabl("CiriCharge") - Adds Ciri's charge ability

Addabl("Ciri_Rage") - Adds Ciri rage

Additem("q403_ciri_meteor") - Adds Ciri Activator from Triss (Quest item)

Addabl("Ciri_Q111") - 2500 energy and 600 attack power

Ciri has several more commands that we apply to Geralt:

Healme - restore health

Addabl("MistCharge") - Increases durability by 100%

Addabl("DamageBuff") - Increases all damage

Addabl("ForceCriticalHits") - Chance of critical damage 100%

Addabl("ConAthletic") - 1000 Vitality, 100 Stamina and Regeneration

Addabl("ConImmortal") - 998000 energy (survivability)

All other commands, like the ones I mentioned, can be found in many published lists. A few words about writing commands in the console. The console is case sensitive, remember that. I have had cases when the console refused to execute commands written by hand. I had to minimize the game, copy the command from the document (Ctrl + C) and paste it into the console (Ctrl + V), then it worked.

Hardly now in the world computer games there is a person who would not have heard about the third part of the famous Witcher series. Each episode is a real masterpiece, each of them became, if not the best game year, one of the best. The Witcher is an example of a role-playing game, a benchmark of the genre. Here you play the role of Geralt of Rivia, who belongs to the witchers - people with unusual abilities who once protected ordinary people from a wide variety of threats up to terrifying monsters. But now there are only a few of them left, and Geralt is one of the few who survived. Now he leads the lifestyle of a wanderer, takes on any job that is offered to him - but at the same time, fate confronts him with a wide variety of situations on his life path. However, in this article we will not talk about the plot, not about the gameplay, not about the graphics of the game. This is not a review of The Witcher 3 project. Console commands - that's what will be discussed here. They are common to many games, they allow you to greatly expand your options in the game. Accordingly, all this applies to the project "The Witcher 3". Console commands in this case, however, are not something publicly available. But first things first.

What it is?

First of all, you need to figure out what the console is in the game The Witcher 3. The console commands here are not much different from those in other projects - this is a way to interfere with the game code, that is, the ability to temporarily change one or another parameter. The console and commands for it are used by developers and testers in the process of debugging the gameplay - with their help you can make the hero immortal to test certain moments of the game, or upgrade him to the maximum level. In some cases, upon release, the game console is completely cut out by developers, much more often it remains, and gamers use its capabilities for their own pleasure. In the case of The Witcher, things are a little more complicated. The fact is that the console in this game is not cut from the game - but it is not available to everyone who has purchased or downloaded the Witcher 3 project. Console commands, however, can still be activated. But how?

Console activation

You can easily find a complete list of console commands - The Witcher 3 is a game in which you can do a lot with the console. Another question is how exactly to use these commands. In most computer games, the console is invoked with a tilde, but in this case, this approach does not work - as well as pressing any other keys or their combinations. But there is a way out - you need to download a special modification created by advanced gamers. This modification is called Debug Console Enabler, and it is available for download on the Internet at no additional charge. To install it, you need to unzip the contents of the archive you downloaded into the game folder, into the bin directory. After that, you can easily use any console commands for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Using Commands

Many gamers immediately want unlimited access to the Witcher 3 game universe. A complete list of console commands is far from the best way out in this situation. You should remember that this console is primarily used for testing the game - accordingly, most of the commands will be absolutely useless for you. So for starters, you should focus on learning exactly how to enter these commands. It should be noted right away that this modification adds to the game the use of two keys - F1 and F2. The first key has nothing to do with the console - it just turns on the free camera mode, which is ideal for testing (which gamers are unlikely to do) and recording various videos or getting the most successful landscapes. But the second key gives you direct access to the console, where you can enter any command, press Enter to activate it, and then press F2 again to hide the console and continue the game. However, as mentioned earlier, the number of console commands in this game is simply huge, and an impressive part of them will be absolutely useless for a gamer. Therefore, it is worth paying attention to some of the most popular commands that are used in order to diversify the gameplay.

Hero Commands

It is worth noting the variety of commands for the game "The Witcher 3" - console commands for armor, for weapons, for skills, for moving around the map, and so on. And now you will find out the most interesting and useful for you as a player. So the most popular command is god , it allows you to make your main character immortal. If this is too easy for you, then you can use the healme command , which will simply restore your hero's health to the maximum. Also, the third part is known for the fact that it allows you to play some of the missions not for Geralt, but for Ciri. So, with the help of the Geralt and Ciri commands, you can switch between these two heroes at any time in the game, that is, you can complete Geralt's missions for Ciri - and vice versa.

Characteristics

Naturally, as in any other role-playing game, the characteristics of your character are the first thing you will care about throughout the gameplay. And with the help of console commands, you can control and regulate them very flexibly. The simplest command is setlevel, after which you need to specify in parentheses what level of character development you want to set. You can also use a longer approach - the Levelup command increases the level of your hero by one. In addition, you can add a certain amount of experience using the addexp command (again, as in the case of the first command, you need to write in brackets how much experience you need to give the hero). And, of course, you need to know the very useful learnskill command, with which you can learn any of the available skills (they also need to be written in brackets after the command). There is an interesting Cat command that allows you to turn night vision on and off. For those who care appearance character, there are setbeard and shave commands, which in the first case will allow you to set the length of Geralt's beard, and in the second - completely remove facial hair. If you wish, you can even use the seatattoo command to transfer Geralt's tattoo from the second part of the game.

Items

What other console commands are there in The Witcher 3? The list of items in this project is huge, and you get full access to it by unlocking the console. This is done very simply - you need to enter the additem command, and in brackets write the name of the item and the number indicating the number of these items that will be in your inventory. You should understand that console commands for wolf armor or a specific sword do not exist in The Witcher 3 - one command is responsible for all items, only the name of the item in brackets changes. But in addition to items, you can also add money to yourself - using the addmoney command. There's also a removemoney command that lets you remove a certain amount of money from your wallet, but who wants to use that?

On the map

Some commands can be used on the world map - in order to travel faster. There is one extremely handy command, goto, but you need to add the name of the place you want to be to it before activating it. The final result should be like this - gotoNovigrad to travel to Novigrad, gotoSkellige to travel to the Skellige Islands, and so on. You can also use the very convenient ShowAllFT command - it opens all fast travel points available on the world map, that is, you will not need to first get to a particular city on your own, so that later you can quickly get there.

Playing Gwent

The Witcher 3 has a Gwent mini-game that you can play to earn money. But first you need to find an opponent, gradually collect a deck of cards, and so on. With the console, the process becomes much easier - to instantly start the game, you need to enter the secretgwint command. Any game can be won instantly with the winGwint command. As for your deck, you can use the addgwintcards command to get a random card - or use the additem command above to select the card you want.

Other commands

Naturally, these are not all the commands that exist in the game - you can enter spawn, and indicate the necessary data in brackets so that any character or monster appears next to you, you can use the killall command to kill all the opponents you are fighting. Simply put, you can experiment with the commands as much as you like, since with the modification installed there is no restriction on their use.
