You won’t surprise anyone with candid scenes and pictures in men’s magazines. Recently, Kate Moss undressed in front of the lens of Terry Richardson, and pregnant Doutzen Kroes posted a nude on Instagram. And yet I want to know what motivates the stars who are ready to bare themselves in front of camera lenses. Actresses Kristina Asmus, Anna Kovalchuk, Alisa Grebenshchikova and Natalya Rudova answer.

“I agreed to appear for a men’s magazine because I wanted to destroy the stereotype of the “Turgenev young lady” that had stuck to me. Discussing the degree of candor of the photo with the magazine, I immediately said: “Minimal.” There is one photograph where I appear to be naked. In fact, I'm wearing underwear that was later erased in Photoshop. I am convinced that every girl should have an erotic photo shoot so that in old age she can remember how beautiful she was.”

“It’s not a problem for me to film the entire film naked. But only if it is a competent project in which everything is done beautifully. You see, you can remove nudity in such a way that then everyone will spit and say that they could easily have done without nudity. Or you can remain naked throughout the entire film, but it will be organic and justified. Then people who come to such a film or performance will not lower their eyes in embarrassment or angrily exclaim: “God, she’s naked!”

“I posed nude for Playboy magazine, being in an interesting position. I don’t understand why this caused such a flurry of discussions and condemnations. Many said: “How is this possible?!” And I don’t understand why it’s not possible. During pregnancy, my figure acquired a pleasant roundness, became more feminine, and I took the chance to capture it in a photo. I’ve wanted to get on the pages of Playboy since I was fifteen, when my girlfriend and I first came across this magazine. I think I’ll give the issue with my photographs to my son Alyosha when he grows up. After all, this was his first filming, even though it was in his mother’s belly.”

“The filming of explicit scenes is not the most pleasant experience. But, as they say, if you call yourself a load, get into the back. On the set of the film Vladimir Bortko“The Master and Margarita” the director asked everyone unnecessary to leave the set, but the people hid for some time, and then returned again. In addition, there was one friend who turned on the camera, thinking that he had done it unnoticed, and left. I walked up and turned the camera in the opposite direction. He later apologized: “Why are you shy, you’re so beautiful!” Let him be grateful that the director didn’t find out anything, otherwise he would have been fired.”

A Playboy model from Belgium staged a nude photo shoot in one of the Turkish temples. This is not the first time that the girl travels to various countries for the sake of beautiful photographs, sometimes naked even in holy places, for which she once even served time in prison. But studying geography and local attractions with a model and her photographs is much more pleasant.

Belgian model Marisa Papin, who once starred for the men's magazine Playboy, staged a photo shoot in the St. Sophia Cathedral in Istanbul, Turkey, writes Mirror. A famous monument of Byzantine architecture, built in 532-537 AD, it was originally a patriarchal Orthodox cathedral, but later became a mosque. Now it has been converted into a museum, and the building is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Marisa says that she and photographer Jesse Walker did not have any special plan, they only used their imagination. They managed to take some pictures inside the cathedral. For example, in one of them, Marisa is depicted in a hijab, the hem of which she raised to show off her completely naked body.

As the model says, they had to stand in a long line before entering the cathedral, and only there they were caught by a small detail - there were security cameras everywhere that “literally cover every centimeter.”

If you have ever been to St. Sophia Cathedral, then you know that there is not a day when it is not packed with thousands of people.

Marisa added that once there, she and Jesse decided to wait for the tour group, waiting for the moment when the guide began to tell the story. It reminded them of a kind of game, because everyone paid attention to the photo shoot.

Inside the mosque we found ourselves in the open air. There was such peace inside, thanks to which everything turned out the way I wanted. We even went back there the next day because we weren't happy with the first pictures.

However, the couple said Turkish authorities came to question employees the day after Marisa and Walker left for another location in Turkey. But, according to the girl, she has connections in this country, so they were calm.

The couple's next photo shoot was in the surreal landscape of Cappadocia, famous for its houses, caves, where many people still live. They had to cancel filming in a historical location due to increased security levels.

As the model suggests, the authorities knew that she and Jesse were in the city, so they prepared in advance.

At one point, two said they were even followed by an armed guard, constantly following us without saying a word. Once we got there, the guy showed that he was watching us and then pointed to a group of armed men on the hills. It looked like a scene from a movie.

Despite feeling like they were being followed throughout their trip, Marisa and Jesse managed to leave the country safely.

This is not the first extravagant photo shoot of Marisa in historical places. In September 2017, she arranged a photo shoot in one of the Egyptian temples, for which she even went to prison for a day.

In June 2018, Marisa filmed in the holy places of Jerusalem: in the Judean Desert and at the Western Wall, as well as at the Dead Sea.

Soledad Miranda – “She Killed in Ecstasy / Sie totete in Ekstase, 1971”

The meeting of Spanish director Jesus Franco with the charming brunette Soledad Miranda not only changed the filmmaker’s views on his own work, but also largely determined the atmosphere of European horror at the turn of the 60s and 70s. Franco began to feature his muse, who was initially far from acting, in each of his new films, mercilessly exploiting Miranda’s beauty and sexuality. The peak of the relationship between the director and actress was the horror film “She Killed in Ecstasy”, in which the main character literally captivated men and women with her nudity and carried out terrible revenge. It is likely that Soledad Miranda could have given more to the world of cinema, but her life was tragically cut short in a car accident.

Kitten Natividad - Up!, 1976

Using porn actresses for the top would be cheating for us, but in the case of Kitten Natividad, we cut ourselves some slack, because the film we want to remind you of, although it belongs to the “adult” category, also has general cultural significance. If only because the famous Roger Ebert, an unquestioning critical authority, had a hand in creating its script. The director of the film, Russ Meyer, was crazy about women with large breasts, and therefore “Get Up!” crowded with beauties with impressive busts. Among them we would like to highlight Kitten Natividad, who, by the will of the authors, had to give lengthy, meaningful monologues on camera. To prevent the viewer from getting bored during this conversation, Natividad wore only high boots throughout the film.

Lana Clarkson - Deathstalker, 1983

Stories of warriors, sorcerers, sword and magic are only now considered the lot of pimply teenagers; in the 80s, films of this genre attracted adults to cinemas with an abundance of scenes with nudity. For example, let us recall the legendary “Death Stalker” and Lana Clarkson in the role of Kyra. Initially introduced as a mysterious warrior covered in a dark hood, Lana sheds her cape early in the film, revealing the absence of the top half of her underwear. From time to time, Clarkson's breasts are covered, but only so that the viewer has time to miss the nudity. The actress carried her image of the beautiful Amazon into several subsequent films, until her tragic death in 2003.

Linnea Quigley - The Return of the Living Dead, 1985

The half-sequel-half-remake of George Romero's famous Night of the Living Dead, directed by Dan O'Bannon in 1984, has long been recognized as a horror classic. Indeed, “Return of the Living Dead” gave the world those very zombies, the image of which is still exploited in cinema, the film had a powerful soundtrack, and the cemetery depicted in the film became a cult. In addition, the film is abundantly filled with naked beauties - for Linnea Quigley, for example, “The Return” served as a career springboard for the new “scream queen.” The opening is really impressive: a rocker girl dancing on tombstones in an outfit consisting of leg warmers and gloves, and only putting on a shirt once - it's something you won't forget.

Matilda May - Lifeforce, 1985

Tobe Hooper's career had many ups and downs, but Lifeforce stands apart in his filmography, if only because of the participation of Matilda May in it. According to the plot of the film, an alien arrives on Earth and feeds on the life force of people. To make it easier to engage in this special type of vampirism, the alien takes on the appearance of a beautiful woman who does not recognize any clothing. It is not surprising that her appearance alone has a disarming effect on men. May appears on screen for no more than 20 minutes, leaving the rest of the running time to questionable special effects and boring, meaningless dialogue, but this time is enough to ensure that the memory of “Vitality” does not fade from memory 30 years after the film’s release.

Amanda Donoghue - Castaway, 1986

Based on real events, the adventure drama Les Misérables, directed by Nicolas Roeg, tells the story of a writer who plans to conduct a unique experiment - together with an unfamiliar companion, he wants to go to a desert tropical island and try to survive there without the benefits of civilization. The character of actress Amanda Donoghue responds to the announcement of the hero Oliver Reed - and now the heroes are already on the island. The first thing the girl does is take off all her clothes and pour out the tea - a great start. However, the film turned out to be not at all so stupid - the drama in it sometimes makes you forget about nudity, especially since Donohue was 24 years old at the time of filming, but Reed was already 48. You can’t help but close your eyes.

Milla Jovovich - Return to the Blue Lagoon, 1991

We would certainly have included Brooke Shields from the famous “Blue Lagoon” on our list if it weren’t for the well-known fact that the actress and model was too young at the time of filming, so she was replaced by stunt doubles in all scenes with too frank nudity. But Jovovich was old enough in the sequel to show off in the frame with her backside barely covered by palm leaves. The story of teenagers lost in a tropical paradise learning the basics of carnal love did not receive critical acclaim, but the audience clapped their hands when watching “Return to the Blue Lagoon” - Milla was indeed good, fully justifying her name.

Elizabeth Berkley - Showgirls, 1995

"Showgirls" was conceived as a cautionary tale about the blind pursuit of fame and money and almost justified its own foresight - the film could have buried the career of Paul Verhoeven, but was limited only by the head of the leading actress. It’s hard to blame Elizabeth Berkley for agreeing to take part in a frank project - the author of the acclaimed “Basic Instinct” is at the helm, the studio is investing money in a project with an adult rating, there was every chance of making history. And Berkeley, of course, went down in history, only in a slightly different way - mainly with her explicit pole dancing and acrobatic sex in the pool.

Natasha Henstridge - Species, 1995

In the era of video stores and cassette rentals, many films were considered hits, but “Specialty” stood apart, excuse me, from this series. Not only was it quite high-quality science fiction, heavily mixed with horror, but also the naked Natasha Henstridge drove the audience crazy with her body. Henstridge played the product of genetic experiments with alien DNA, a deadly woman who destroys men after mating - can you think of anything worse? The universal plot about death after sex received three sequels and a remake, but Henstridge remained in the memory alone and unique.

Serina Vincent – “Not Another Teen Movie, 2001”

It’s unlikely that any of the actors who took part in the filming of “Not for Children” mention him in the first lines of their resume, especially Chris Evans, who is now trying to brush aside everything unheroic. But this film, in any case, went down in the annals of history, if only as an excellent parody of the youth comedies that were fashionable in the 90s. And the most striking page of such satire was the heroine of actress Serina Vincent with the telling name Areola, an exchange student who arrived at an American school from a world where wearing clothes is considered indecent. Vincent has since starred in three dozen films, but not a single scene with her participation is worth even a second of the grandiose performance in “Not for Children.”

Christina Ricci – “Life Beyond / After.Life, 2009”

We are always surprised by films that, despite the presence of quite decent stars, manage to remain gray and unnoticeable. These include the dramatic thriller “Life Beyond” starring Christina Ricci, Liam Neeson and Justin Long - if it weren’t for the actress being naked almost throughout the film, not a single movie fan would have remembered it a month after the film’s release. . In the story, Ricci’s heroine, after a car accident, comes to her senses within the walls of the morgue, but everyone, even the man preparing her for burial and calmly talking to her, assures the girl that she is dead. While Ricci is trying to prove that she belongs to the living, the audience is revived with doses of her bare breasts - that’s what resuscitation is all about.

Betsy Roux – “My Bloody Valentine 3D / My Bloody Valentine, 2009”

People who are far from cinema mistakenly believe that volume came to modern cinemas with Cameron's Avatar, but you and I know that spectacular films that required 3D glasses existed before. Take, for example, the remake of the classic horror film “My Bloody Valentine” directed by Patrick Lussier – a completely watchable horror film with a couple of boom moments, elegantly executed taking into account the third dimension. However, “Valentine” of the new generation was remembered not only for the pickaxe that regularly flies into the hall, but also for the sex scene between the heroes of Betsy Ru and Todd Farmer. Irene is not at all embarrassed by her nakedness - she leaves the motel room and runs away from the killer without any clothes, until she finally joins the ranks of victims - naked and bloody. Everything as you like.

It may seem incredible, but to remember the actresses who would never show nudity on the silver screen, you will have to try. All modern Hollywood stars of the first magnitude no, no, and they will show off their forms, to say nothing of European or Russian actresses. Fortunately, these women are remembered not only and not so much for their charms, but for their acting, drama, skill, and characters. However, among them there are also those who are remembered for only one episode in their career, and even that they had to meet in the clothes their mother gave birth to. We remembered those actresses whom viewers remember only from small episodes with nudity, without paying attention to their future life and career.

Still from the film "Sloppy"

Two thoughts come to mind when the name Kelly Preston is mentioned: her role in "Scamp" and her marriage to John Travolta. “Scamp” is not the most impressive film and does not have the opportunity to boast of cult status or multimillion-dollar box office receipts. But what gives it special significance is the fact that the film contains one of the most beautiful erotic scenes in the history of cinema, because of which the naked Preston became the ideal of beauty for many young people of that time. Kelly is really young and delightful, however, while you continue to lick your lips at this nymphet today, do not forget that she and Travolta already have three children!
